It’s easy to pull up and down, I was worried that pulling it down might cause the whole thing to come down but I haven’t had any problems. I have this in my bathroom window and it totally filters out the light, almost too much! I posted a before and after photo. Keep in mind the after open photo isn’t even completely open. I’ve only had a week so I can’t speak to the lasting durability but I have no doubts this will hold up. The value for the money could not be better. It was super easy to put up though I found the little wrench that comes with it kind of useless. Very happy with this purchase

The room darkening ones do not let in any light. The light filtering are wonderful for the bathroom, they keep privacy while allowing in plenty of light. The sizing was exactly what it said.

The light cream is very attractive. Blind feels sturdy and not cheap. Blicks light extremely well. Overall easy to install. Had a little difficulty getting the plastic tool to fit around nut in order to tighten as it’s a bit too thick but otherwise very pleased with this product.

The black out blinds installed easily, fit perfectly, and work great! I like that they do not have any cords and go up and down so easily. No light gets through them at all when they are down and when we have them open they are very low profile. They are high quality and I would order them again.

These were very easy to install with almost no tools necessary. A plastic wrench for final tightening is supplied. They raise up with little effort and pull down just as easily. When they are fully pulled down, it really makes the room dark, even in the brightest daylight. They do an excellent job of blocking out the light. They do however lose one star in their rating for one minor design flaw. When they are fully pulled down, not only do they block the light, but without any vents or gaps in the design like traditional venetian blinds, they block any airflow or breeze that may be coming in the window. Their design is solid, so nothing gets through, even if you want that delightful spring breeze. Yes, they are light enough to be moved by a decent wind, but do you really want them flopping about? I would not buy these particular blinds for my bedroom as I'd want them lowered to keep out the light, but then I lose any breeze. Just something to consider when making the purchase. Other than that, these are nice blinds and install in minutes with little strain or effort.

So I needed new blinds, was hoping for blackout - but had tried blackout curtains and had no luck. I thought I’d give these a try, even though I was hesitant because they seemed maybe more flimsy than wood ones would be? And hot damn… if they don’t totally block out the light! You can’t help the outline of the light around the blinds - they are put on inside the window sill, not outside like curtains, but it is the difference of night and day completely! I took pictures literally a minute apart, as I pulled the blinds shut / open (excuse the mess), and they literally blacked out my bedroom. I am so excited! This morning was the first time having it be pitch black in there, and it made a huge difference for me. They were pretty easy to put up, tho I couldn’t seem to use the little tool it came with. 🤷♀️ I was able to tighten the plastic bolts by hand enough to get them tight. I’ll have my husband check it - he’s stronger. They just work similar to a tension rod, there’s no screws to put into the wall, or anything difficult. It took minutes. They came packaged really well - I bought 2 and each blind was units own box, and then they were both packaged in another box together. It was longer than my windows, so I was nervous at first, but once unpackaged, it was the right width. I got the beige or brown honeycomb blinds at 41” - the color is a warm brown tone, like Kraft cardstock. A little darker than I expected, but I actually really like it. The length was perfect - there is MAYBE a 1/8” on either side, maybe - so make sure you measure both the top and bottom of your windows (some are not consistent). I would definitely recommend these for anyone looking to blackout their room!
