I have what most would consider type 4 hair texture and love laying my edges in cute lil’ swirl designs. I actually stumbled across this pomade on accident, working at an Amazon warehouse. It got on my hands during a clean up of some damages and when I felt how thick the product was, I immediately knew it could hold my edges well. I was so right! I didn’t take well to the hefty price tag but I took a chance. I’m never going back to edge control made specifically for women. Great product especially for short hair styles. Very lightweight non greasy formula that sets and holds your hair quickly and all day. Your hair will feel like it has gel in it where it dry and stiff to the touch. This is my go to for hair prep.

I used to use the old Redkin Water Wax 03. Couldn't find anything I liked as a replacement once they stopped making it, until I came across this. The top of my hair is about 1 1/2 inches. Just toss in a dime size amount and I'm good to go! This doesn't harden but it dries a little better than most Pomade. High hold and moderate shine which is exactly what I was looking for!

This product is amazing. At first, I couldn't decide if I liked the fragrance. It is subtle but still there. Its such a masculine smell too! Product is easy to apply. However, they are very correct when they say the better the hold if the hair is dryer when applied. Its best to apply fresh from the shower with towel dried hair. Great hold though. I wear headphones at work for Teams meetings and don't look like I am fresh out of the bed! Try it once. You'll buy it again.

I have thick, thinning, Polynesian hair. I blow dry my hair straight every morning and have to apply hair products to dry hair or my hair will keep its curls. This product smells delicious and I’ve gotten a ton of compliments when using it but since I have to apply it to dry hair it does make it ever so slightly uneasy to disperse. Honestly though it’s been my favorite hair product I’ve tried though and I don’t see me ever switching anytime soon!! Highly recommend.
