Both my husband and my son use this product on their hair daily. It gives nice hold and shape without being goopy or too stiff. It has a sweet smell to it. It is a good smell but it is noticeable to others.

Updated review- So as my first review said this is a great product with a nice medium hold. But more of a soft medium hold . It allows you to style your hair in any way and most importantly it is a matte finish. In my opinion it leaves a very light shine but it makes it look more natural and not like the life was sucked out of your hair. It takes a bit to fully set and "dry" but it may be because I have low perosity hair. I have let my hair grow out more than usual and I am letting my curly hair do it's thing instead of keeping it short and just styling it back. My hair is about 3 to 4 inches long on top and I have 3A curls . I gave this a shot after not using for a while with my longer hair. I have to say I am very surprised by the results. I was expecting this to weigh down my hair but to my surprise it didn't. I apply it to semi damp hair from root to end . Style it, which for me is to light scrunch and lift and just let it air dry. It keeps the curls in place, soft, no frizz, doesn't dry, not greasy. And most importantly it washes off easily with water. My daughter with very thick dense wavy hair uses it too and it works great as well.

My husband is obsessed with this stuff and will not use anything else in his hair. All of the barbers he has went to in the past several years use it and it has a great hold without being too stiff. I love it as it smells like marshmallows and still feels soft when I touch his hair. It is not sticky or crispy.

After my old hair cream got discontinued, I had to find a new one. I bought a bunch of paste and puffy. Pete & Pedro, L’Oréal, Creemo, Suavecito, and Crew to name a few. After trying all of them, this one is the clear best. First of all, the size of the tin is almost twice as big as the others so you get your money’s worth there. Second, the product is very easy to emulsify and spread and use to style your hair. The hold is great and will last all day and you can continue to style your hair throughout the day without additional product. The only downside (and it might not be a downside to some) is that the product smells awfully similar to Diet Coke. At first I couldn’t put my finger on what it was but after a few applications, I finally realized what it was. So yeah, it doesn’t smell perfumy like other hair products. Just smells like Diet Coke.

This is the only pomade I use anymore. When it dries it feels the same as when your hair dries after swimming in the ocean - adjustable, not greasy, not shiny. Plus it smells great. I think there are concentrated pheromones in the pomade that naturally helps attract females. I dunno. Try it out and see if you experience the same effects I have.
