I was hesitant to spend the 20+ dollars on the 4.25oz version so I tried the smaller 1.5oz for less out of pocket to try it. In short I love this product! I have 2-3 inch hair and a little goes a long way for me, it goes on nicely has a nice vanilla smell, doesn’t feel real greasy or waxy, it has above average hold and rinses out pretty well without soap. I have considered this product several times over the years but the price kept me away but now I wish I had tried it sooner, because it out performs a lot of the budget-upper budget options and is worth the price. ... show more

I have been purchasing hair wax from Hong Kong for years because it was the only place I could find actually high hold wax that acts like wax (hold hair in place with a small amount of product, easy to style, easy to use).     • Greasy not great hold
This isn't for me. I usually use Bed Head Matte Separation but was looking for more hold. I do a light styling to the front of my side part. To me the cement feels and looks greasy and has less hold than the Bed Head. I like the scent though. For some reason I was envisioning "cement" being a product that once styled sortof dried and stayed put. Maybe that's an unrealistic expectation but this definitely doesn't stay put. I'd apply it at home and get it the way I want it. Later at work in the bathroom I'd notice my hair had laid down. The hair could be restyled with the residual product but after a few times touching it up their isn't much product left and you're left in a weird state. ... show more

    • The scent alone is worth it!
Man it smells great! It’s also a really good clay pomade. Easy to use goes in and holds strong, if you need a touch up it can be done with a little bit of water and fingers run through your hair. Did I mention the smell?
