First the good.... This blanket is well made. It has a quality feel to it and weight is evenly distributed across the blanket. The stitching is good quality and the bag it comes with is good. Overall, this blanket is great and if someone asked me for a recommendation I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this one. All that aside, I tried to like this blanket but in the end it wasn't for me. I used it to sleep, I used it while relaxing on the couch, I tried different ways of laying it on me but in the end it just wasn't for me. I didn't sleep any better and I really didn't feel that relaxed laying underneath it. One thing that I did like is that it didn't cause me to overheat which had been a concern prior to getting it. I gave 5 stars since the blanket is a good quality product and there is nothing inherently wrong with it. Just not for me. ... show more

I bought this because it was on sale and because I didn't want to pay $300 for a weighted blanket. I figured it I didn't like it, I could return it easily so I'd try it. It's not going back! The weight js distributed nicely, both sides of the fabric are soft and it is big enough for two larger adults on a queen sized bed. We had a different weighted blanket before and it would slide off one side of the bed or the other because the weight wasn't distributed evenly and it wasn't quite big enough but this blanket has neither of those issues. ... show more
