First the good.... This blanket is well made. It has a quality feel to it and weight is evenly distributed across the blanket. The stitching is good quality and the bag it comes with is good. Overall, this blanket is great and if someone asked me for a recommendation I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this one. All that aside, I tried to like this blanket but in the end it wasn't for me. I used it to sleep, I used it while relaxing on the couch, I tried different ways of laying it on me but in the end it just wasn't for me. I didn't sleep any better and I really didn't feel that relaxed laying underneath it. One thing that I did like is that it didn't cause me to overheat which had been a concern prior to getting it. I gave 5 stars since the blanket is a good quality product and there is nothing inherently wrong with it. Just not for me.

I bought this because it was on sale and because I didn't want to pay $300 for a weighted blanket. I figured it I didn't like it, I could return it easily so I'd try it. It's not going back! The weight js distributed nicely, both sides of the fabric are soft and it is big enough for two larger adults on a queen sized bed. We had a different weighted blanket before and it would slide off one side of the bed or the other because the weight wasn't distributed evenly and it wasn't quite big enough but this blanket has neither of those issues.

This weighted blanket has been so helpful! I am sleeping much deeper because of it. It's soft, excellent quality, and machine washable. Love it!

Could be a bit longer. Check your specs if necessary. The pet side works well. The soft side is soft, but not super soft. Would I reccommend this to a friend? Yes.

I've bought and returned many weighted blankets, and I've liked this one the most out of all of them I've tried. It's super soft on one side, and there's good weight distribution. I thought it would feel heavier, I'm not sure it feels quite like 20 pounds. Still a comfy blanket and I recommend it. I actually didn't return this one.

I read so much about the benefits of a weighted blanket. I shopped & read reviews and pros & cons. I finally chose the Layla to try out. I love it so much!! It soothes my body & my feelings. I can lay in my normal sleeping positions. It is like added protection or comfort. It sure helps me relax. I wish I had believed sooner.

Very true to what it says in description. weight is precisely distributed, the soft side is *extremely* soft to the touch, and the other is a fairly generic nylon type material, though that's not a bad thing. I've been sleeping with it every night, and while it hasn't stopped me from tossing and kicking a bit, nothing else has either. I tend to sleep fairly uninterrupted thanks to Layla.
