This unit requires assembly but the needed tools are provided. The function of this product is basic and requires little effort, your body weight should provide sufficient force to penetrate the soil. It’s good in tight areas where my larger aerator won’t fit. The holes are small and will easily refill but will allow the soil to breathe and fertilizer nutrients to reach the roots. Also helps with water retention. I’ve tried other styles of manual aerators but like this one best.

This shipped quickly and arrived in a simple cardboard box in pieces. this lawn aerator is completely made of quality metal and fits together very easily. To use this aerator it is preferable that the ground has had a good soaking to allow good penetration into the ground. You simply use the weight of your body to push the aerator into the ground. I used this on my lawn after a heavy rain in the areas that are struggling so as to rejuvenate the ground and I was able to put fertilizer and grass seed in the ground. My lawn has benefited greatly from this and for the price of this aerator it is a great way to help your lawn flourish.

Was not very hard to put together. Great price and will do the job. My yard is very packed soil. This hopefully helps to make my grass healthy again. It is a little work to use this tool as you have, (in my lawn), use your body weight to sink this through the soil. Have to move it and repeat many many times. The price is right though, and it doesnt take up very much room during storage.

The Wodesid lawn aerator is a sturdy manual tool with a soil core tray. It feels heavy-duty and handles compacted soil pretty well. The stainless steel tines penetrate without bending, even in tougher areas. The design pulls up decent plugs of soil, which helps the lawn breathe and take in water better. It does take effort, especially for larger yards, so it’s more of a workout tool than a quick solution. The tray that collects the soil plugs is a helpful feature. It keeps the lawn tidier and saves cleanup time compared to leaving the plugs scattered around. If you have a medium or small lawn and don’t mind putting in a little elbow grease, this is an effective and durable tool for lawn care.

This has an interesting design. You have to put it together yourself, which isn't that hard, however it is almost like nut and bolts with long pointy shafts on them. Actually, that's exactly what it is. Regardless, they are strong and they are Sharp! So be very careful when putting this together and be mindful of where you set it down. If you drop it on tile, those points are strong enough to cause damage. Thankfully, I had cardboard underneath it when I put it together, so when I accidentally dropped it, it went through the cardboard but did not damage the tile. I have used this on a few spots in the yard that needed to be aerated, and it worked very well. Just set it on the ground, step on it and it goes right in. I do have an aerator that you pull behind the lawnmower, but this is much easier for small specific areas. It seems to be well constructed, the metal is not flimsy and the spikes are strong. It is easy to use and a great tool for lawn repair at a decent price.

This is a very well made tool and very sturdy. The design allows the soil cores to be pushed through with each successive stab into the lawn. The handles and step are sturdy. Just be careful of the pointy end as it is very sharp. This will be good exercise to put it to use.

Very nice quality and very durable. It's very easy to assemble and use would recommend adding some grips to the handle as prolonged use can cause blisters. It functions very well for intended use. Definitely worth the price
