Easy enough to put together. Big enough for our granddaughter to use and grow into. She is almost 5yo. She loves it! Hand brake and kickstand work but not the greatest. The wheels are hard plastic, although I would have preferred something better at this price range. The frame is pretty solid and should be able to withstand a beating. The packing is very bare as are the assembly instructions. Overall, I think this is a good product.

You can improve your child's Independence and mobility with this balance bike. There are no pedals and the child uses their feet on the ground to operate the bike. It is great for motor skills development and while it is recommended for kids age 2 to 5, I would say probably at the older age of that range. This little scooter is bright yellow and black and looks nice, and the price is about what you can expect to pay for a balance bike with these features. The bike is 4 ft long and 31 in up to the handlebars and has a rear wheel brake. Using it with a 5-year-old and it is absolutely perfect for him. I believe the price is right for this product and recommended if you have a top or you want to help improve their motor skills and Independence and balance.

My daughter is 6 but petite. I purchased a similar scooter that was listed for 5-8 year old and it was way too big for her. I needed something smaller but I did not want a cheap little scooter with roller-blade wheels. This looked like it was going to be a miniature version of the first scooter I got. It was not. The frame was just as big and heavy. Even worse, the wheels were cheap foam tires. The rear tire was not the right size, it was too small for the frame which made the rear brake squeeze on the tire instead of the rim of the wheel. I sent it back.

I have to admit I was really looking forward to receiving this scooter, and after it arrived I felt a bit frustrated and disappointed. Let me say right off that it’s not a bad product. But I don’t think it’s in any way special either. The frame is perhaps the best part: really solid and nicely put together (although the welds are a tad sloppy). I also like the yellow color, and the overall look. I was less enthused by the plastic tires/wheels, which are unyieldingly hard and slippery. But it is the brakes that were the biggest disappointment. Not only were they not fully assembled or adjusted, the one page instructions made no mention of the brakes at all. No tips for adjusting them, no explanation as to why they seemed to be configured to grab on the side of the tires, no nothing. You’re just on your own with those questions. And you can’t get any help by looking at the product webpage photos either, because they just show small black parts against black areas from far away. The sixty dollar price tag seems about right. So okay, not a bad scooter. Frustrations aside, it works and a kid can have fun with it. But I just found myself expecting and wanting something more.

Easy to assemble and ready to go after 10 minutes of opening the box. Light aluminum frame with cheapy airless tires and a mechanical rim brake on the back wheel. Very easy to maneuver and the height is somewhat adjustable so it will fit a variety of children based on their height. Bright yellow color is highly visible and that's a safety feature most companies overlook when it comes to children's bikes & scooters. This is a good way to teach your child how to balance balance and ride while using a hand brake, so possibly a step 2 after the conventional balance bike. All in all a very light, quick and functional training tool that teaches balance and multiple motor skills simultaneously.

This is a very nice scooter, well made, heavy duty metal, big tires for a scooter, but will last a long time for a child riding it. It's not by any means small, a teenager could easily ride it. It does say for 8yrs and older on it. The tires are good rubber so will last and not pop or go flat easily. A great purchase if your looking for a scooter for a young child or teenager.
