Hydration is the buzz word in foundation. And, of course, you do not want your foundation to settle into crow's feet or laugh lines, so sheer coverage is important. You want to look natural after applying foundation and not look like the bride of Frankenstein. But, at the same time, your skin needs protection from the wrinkle-causing UV rays from the sun. Even after reapplying to build up coverage, this foundation did not hide sun spots. Decide what your skin needs most -- hydration or protection or coverage, then make the purchase that is best for your skin. Lancôme foundation provides all three.

I have never found a makeup product or foundation that was that amazing I felt it nessisary to do a review. Well, this is that ONE product that is that amazing! I've tried so many, from clinique, Mac, and all the department stores, and ads that pop up saying they are the best, this one popped up and I thought I'd try, why not? And holly @%&t it's not caky, drying, it lasts all day, didn't settle in my creases, buildable without gumming, just wow! Finally! Young skin, old skin, doesn't matter, this is the best!

First, I was looking for a hydrating gel or cream formulation that acts like Laura Geller's BAKED FOUNDATION because my skin is so dry. I applied moisturizer, sunscreen and primer (all in one product), then I applied this tinted moisturizer. Not hydrating long term. It actually made my skin look more dry throuout the day. My pores looked enhanced. It is GREAT in the sheerness, and gives a little dewy look initally. The dewyness did not stay. The color was a very good match for my skin tone. It will not cover any imperfections. If you have young, clear, hydrated skin, I would recommend. My skin is "older" and I do need a little coverage, however, I wanted the "no make up, make up skin" LIKE THE BAKED FOUNDATION POWDER product. (This I love, but I was looking for a more hydrating product from Laura Geller). Will be returning.
