The launch x431 will come in 2 packages your main package is the tablet this is good for american and Asian vehicle key programming. But the other package has the eeprom adapter this has everything used for euro programming also has cables to clone engine computers and other modules. I have always been a big fan of Launch products but after an unfortunate incident where my tablet was stolen I have found out that if this happens your just out all that money. Logic would tell you that if the tablet is lost or stolen or malfunctions you could purchase just a tablet or move the software to another device. I have been repeatedly told no and the only offer in the direction of help was that they could lock it, and that's not even close to being helpful. Just to be fair they make great products, but customer service is worse than useless. I purchased the tablet in September at almost $1500 with 2 years of updates. It was stolen in November, I have all the accessories the VCI charger everything. The tablet is the only thing missing. ... show more

I normally dont leave reviews unless I find a product that blows me away. The Launch X431 Immo Elite with Xprog3 is absolutely incredible. I'm a locksmith amd Professional diagnostic specialist. I own a Autel, Xhorse, Xtool, TopDon and and a few other brands of less expensive key programmers and diagnotic tools. This programmer / diagnostic tool is hands down the best tool I have to date. It covers more vehicles, year spans (including new vehicles) and situations than several of my other programmers combined. On the programming side it will program smart and flip keyed clones with transponders, OEM and Aftermarket keys. It will read Nissan 20 pin rolling codes, Hyundai, Kia, GMC, GM pin codes and Toyota etc. Add a key, all lost keys, RKE, key matching, key learning, immo reset, replacement, immo cloning, delete all keys and data erasing. Covers all situations. CanFD, FCA for SWG (auto Auth for diag 2017+) and DoIP capable vehicles. ECU (engine & gearbox), MCU, FLASH and EEPROM read/write/clone. I dont have to pass on jobs that I didn't have the right equipment in the past. On the Diagnostic side it outperforms my Autel and Xtool by a long shot. Relearn the most important parts, AV, AF, Throttlebody, AC, Crank position sensor, Trans ect and reset a whole host of other functions. It pulls extensive live data streams to evaluate issues in real time and bidirectional controls to test actuators, sensors and switches. The diagnostics are far more extensive than any of my deicated diagnostic tools. Launch has really set the bar high and really exceeds the competition (its not even close). It cuts down on the necessity to have multiple programming and diagnostic computers to do the job. Im shocked more locksmiths dont know about this tool. The media could not be loaded. This is a good tool. But to be honest the system was slow connecting and updating but once done this tool was extremely great for key programming btw etc. this is a locksmith dream.

I use this product on a daily basis as an automotive mechanic. As the tech continues to evolve on cars so is our need for diagnostic tools to be able to perform fast and accurate repairs. Was very happy with my purchase amd will use launch in the future.

The ease and clarity of the tablet instructions is good. the immo elite will update my locksmith business so I can accept more work in the automotive field. it can Interfaces with every vehicle and can program keys for any car too. If you are buying a scan tool on here... buy this one. If you used it for business purposes then you will get your money back quickly.
