Why I like it: As an IT Pro, many of my projects involve installing infrastructure—network cabinets, cable raceways, access points, cameras, etc. This laser level is compact and self-leveling—I just attach it to a portable microphone stand to get accurate cross lines on the walls, floor, and ceiling to line everything up. Cross lines blink if the laser is out of range to self-level, and goes solid once the unit is level and stabilized. The final pic I uploaded shows the laser aimed down the corner of a room—it leveled and aligned with excellent accuracy. Charge indicator blinks green while charging, and goes solid when complete. I don’t use the pulse mode with a receiver, but it’s a nice option to have. The 3.7v 1400mAh battery gives plenty of runtime, and charges quickly (depending on your charger’s output). Overall, a very compact and accurate laser level for your projects.

First photo: the tiny rubber “plug” that keeps the charging port free of dust broke off immediately. However it is not too critical if you keep the level inits well designed box. The laser comes with a small arm which screws into the bottom of the level. But the right-angle or “L” shaped arm appears to only have two metal disks embedded in it and no other way to secure the arm to anything. I use this arm as a handle although for any real leveling use, I screw the level into my camera tripod stand (2nd photo). Not sure how many feet the green laser will extend in daylight as we do not have any long walls-lol. The level comes with a partial charge, so you can mess about with it and get used to it immediately. Instructions are pretty basic. I do not know why someone would want a 2 second or 5 second blink on a laser level, but they built that in as well as the full on-all-of-the-time laser lines.

I was looking for a laser level to draw lines around my home theater to position the speakers. I had tried standard lasers but getting them accurately level over room-length distances is challenging. But not for this Self Leveling HUADER Green Line Laser Level. In the self leveling mode the line is level even if the base is off by 4 degrees. The HUADER level has a couple other modes but the self leveling mode is what I wanted and it is near perfect. I also like that it is rechargeable with a USB C port and that it comes with a couple of mounting options: You can attach it to a tripod or you can attach it to a provided bracket that magnetically mounts to ferrous metal.

Definitely a commercial grade laser level at a low price and it has a hundred uses in building and leveling. The tripod mount is very useful indoors and the clean and bright green light is easy to see and measure from. With a story pole for the elevation readings- it is very easy to use as a one-person tool for building house pads or shooting a level line to correctly position block work- building straight and level walls using the laser lines as a guide. Excellent product that holds a charge for days. Great find!

I didn't even know what I was missing before I got this! I love to decorate and hanging pictures/shelves/mirrors is something I do very often. While I am very particular about how things look, I am also not all that great at measuring/leveling things using my level, tape measure etc. I often add more holes tot he walls than needed and more time to the project than I should! This laser level makes it SO easy to find the right spot to put your holes, the FIRST time. I wish I had this years ago, but so happy I have it now. I am ordering two of these as gifts for my home decorator friends.

This is a nice green laser level. The lines aren't as bright as units costing 5x to 10x more. But this one has it where it counts. The lines are plumb and level. The magnetic bracket holds very well to anything magnetic. The 1/4-20 tripod mount let's me use it with a tripod or laser level base. And the pulse mode allows me to use it with a receiver in broad daylight.

I still have all of the oil based levels my father used. Wow, is this more convenient! Easy to use, bright as all get out. Comes with a convenient magnetic bracket. My father always said having the right tool makes work a lot easier. And this is the right tool!
