I was looking for a decent, but inexpensive set of brushes to add to my niece's first makeup kit. A lot of makeup brush sets, even the pricier ones, only have one good-sized powder brush, a flat foundation brush, and 3-5 detail brushes. Personally, I like to have a big, fluffy brush for my facial powder, and another, slightly smaller or angled fluffy brush for my powdered blush. I almost never use those flat foundation brushes. This set has soft, fluffy brushes, including one big enough to use for powder, and four more (!) brushes that could work well for applying powdered blush. In addition, it has seven (seven!) differently-shaped detail brushes that will be great for eye makeup. I wouldn't say the brushes are professional quality (thus the four stars), and I like even larger brushes than these for my powder and blush, but I think they're just fine for a tween who's just starting to learn to use makeup. They're big enough and full enough to be usable. (I've included a photo of my hand next to the brushes to give an idea of size. Fwiw, I have pretty small hands.) I think I would have been pretty excited to get a makeup brush set like this when I was around my niece's age. They're much better than the little brushes you get in the typical blush compact. For the price, I think this set is a fantastic deal! I was able to get these the next day after I ordered them, and they arrived in perfect condition, so I was able to relax, and know that I now had everything for my niece's Christmas gift. The media could not be loaded. Hair On Brushed Aren’t Put In All The Way .. 1 Brush Isn’t The Same Color As The Rest (Like The Advertisement).. Sticks Are Warped & Not Straight… The There Some Type Of Residue On The Metal Parts Of The Brushes.. Definitely Won’t Be Using These Brushes..

I just needed a few makeup brushes and these do the job. I’ve been using them for a few weeks and they work well. You could certainly get some that are higher quality but I personally don’t think that makes much of a difference when it comes to makeup brushes.
