This is a good hair removal device and I love that it also has the skin care and acne modes. The cooling feature is nice. I was tempted to take off a star because the controls are a little too easy to hit accidentally, meaning you suddenly end up in skin care mode when you mean to be in hair removal or vice versa, but for the price, it's pretty good and I like it better than some other models I have tried. If you set it to the auto-flash mode, it helps to reduce random button-hitting because you can keep your fingers further away from the controls. The media could not be loaded. I’ve been using this hair removal device religiously for 4 weeks. I am now on my 5th week cycle and can definitely see the difference in the hair growth. There’s less hair on my legs and definitely a lot less hair on my armpits and bikini area. Hair is also noticeably thinner. First 2 weeks you are supposed to use it 3x per week, 3rd and 4th week you should use it 2x per week, 5th and 6th week only 1-2x per week and the last 2 weeks just once per week. I am on my 5th week and I am going to continue with 2x per week until I reach the week 7 or 8. The instructions say 1-2x during the week 5 and 6 but since I’m seeing results I am highly motivated and plan on using it twice a week. Consistency is the key. I made a routing to do this while watching TV at night. At first I had to pay attention to device but now I can do it without looking. Just glide over the skin and move the device about 1in forward after every light flash. It comes with the protective glasses that fold nicely and fit in the same box with the device. I still have to continue with my regular shaving. However, the thickness and coarseness of the hairs has been reduced. It is definitely something that needs to be repeated as hairs will emerge from different follicles at different times. It’s not a once and done treatment. This device makes carrying out IPL at home very simple. The small handheld device has an easy to use screen on the front that has indicators for the level. In addition to being able to choose the level, I can select auto or manual mode. The manual mode is great for precise timing and placement. The auto mode is good for large areas. This device also has 3 plates for size control of the lights. I’ve been using it consistently for 4 weeks and I can already see results. My attachments don’t seem to work, but I haven’t needed them. The cooling setting makes it completely painless. It does take a long time to do the entire body, but I just do it while I watch tv at night.
