Only downside is getting the hang of it takes some time since it can be a bit over complicated at times, but aside from that it works great. The laser is easy to hold and use, while it doesn't have any greasy feeling either. Hair is just whisked away without issue, and the color is really pleasant too, making it pair well in most bathrooms. Sure, it's a little fragile, but don't drop it and you'll be fine. The Idea of having laser hair removal at home in a more private and convenient setting was my biggest push to try a device like this. It was a little intimidating at first to be doing this myself as I obviously wanted to make sure it was safe and effective. I like that the Laser Hair Removal Device looked fairly simple to use with 3 different modes for specific parts of the body. The size of the laser device is manageable and isn't heavy. I've been using this for about 6-7 weeks now and I honestly did not see much of a change at first, it took what felt like a long time to see any results. I shaved one area and focused using the device on the hair right next to that area to see what kind of results I was getting, compare to old fashion shaving (I used my own shaver, not the ones that came in this box). By the time I saw results from using the laser, the shaved part was already growing back so patience and consistent use is necessary to see results! I didn't notice much pain or excessive heat related sensations. The lasered hair did grow back a bit more fine and no ingrown hairs or the skin irritation I usually get with traditional razor shavers. As a side note, absolutely don't forget to use the protective eyewear while using this. The con is that it does take quite some time to get results, the pro is that you can do it in the privacy of your own home when your schedule allows. After you start seeing results, you'll see the value.

I am incredibly impressed with the Mihilo IPL Device. The standout feature is definitely the 41°F Sapphire Ice-Cooling technology. It's easy to operate, simply change the setting to the body area that's being treated, then set the strength level and start zapping. The sapphire ice-cooling does make a difference as it negates most if not all of the heat impact from the flash. I can zap away and most of the time all I feel is the cool/cold contact that it makes. There are a few times here and there where I may notice some of the heat, but I just slow down for a moment if it's enough to bother me, which typically it isn't. This also has an auto mode which makes this a breeze to use. Once enabled, every time it senses full skin contact, it triggers a flash. This makes it is very simple and fast to move across entire sections rapidly. It's not a one and done treatment, it's something you have to keep after until you achieve the desired results. But it does seem to be effective as with continued use, the treated areas of hair are not coming back like it had been before. If I had any complaint, it would be that you really can't set it down once it's on as it would block the bottom vents. Also, the manual lists it as 530nm while the listing shows it as being 530nm-1200nm, so I'm not sure which is correct.

This is my second one of these and the reason I got it is because this one seemed much smaller than my previous one. Its still the size of a shampoo bottle but still comfy in the hand and fairly small. Its super easy to use and is very effective if you use it properly. This is perfect for anyone who wants a more permanent way of removing hair without having to go to a place and paying big money constantly.

Having tested a huge number of IPL devices at this point, I'd say this IPL falls squarely in the lower-mid level tier. It has some bonus features, but it's also relatively low powered. Specifics of this IPL device: ** Includes ICE skin cooling functionality ** Selectable power level (1-5), 19.8J ** Selectable body part focus (Body/Face/Bikini) ** Rated for 36W (lower midrange) ** Oblong shape. ** No focusing lenses You run the tool over the area where you want to remove hair and make sure you expose all the hair follicles in that region. You will not see any immediate results. The light signals your hair to stop growing, but it requires multiple treatments over several weeks before you will be expected to see results. Eventually, you should find a substantial reduction in the hair in the treated areas. In the box, you get the tool, a power cord, a pair of eye protection glasses, two cheap disposable razors, a lens cleaning cloth, plus instructions. "Ice" functionality AKA "Local epidermal cooling," which is included here, uses a Peltier junction to reduce the heat at the point of contact. The high-powered light can be irritating to some people, and cooling the skin in that region can reduce the immediate irritation. The three modes (body/face/bikini) are not clearly explained in the manual, so it's not clear what difference to the operation those modes make. I'd hesitate to say hose are particular value, as a result. This IPL is mid-priced and is much more expensive than many IPL devices on Amazon. You do get the epidermal cooling, but you also get a lower end 36W power supply, which is disappointing at the price. The device seems to work OK--like most of the many IPL devices you can find on Amazon. So if you want an IPL device that includes ICE and the price is attractive (these things frequently get discounted via promotions), then this would be an OK choice. But shop around. Summary: Pros: ** Integrates epidermal cooling (ICE) ** Three modes (body/face/bikini) Cons: ** Fairly expensive ** Relatively low powered (36W) ** Oblong shape may be uncomfortably wide for smaller hands ** Mode behaviors not suitably described in the manual; not clear how useful they are ** Heat exhaust vents on IPL are mostly on the bottom, and are blocked if you place the IPL down while it's on

You get the device, AC-adapter, 2 cheap disposable razors, cheap UV-block glasses, wiping cloth, and better instructions than many devices come with. The peltier cooling works pretty well. The device itself is lower-power than many, so it doesn't sting badly, and the "ice" function helps with whatever minor discomfort there might be from it. The lower-power might explain why it says it needs to be used 3 times a week, and why it claims to have unlimited uses/flashes. The "unlimited" claim is just marketing hype, though. I'd prefer it if they gave a realistic estimate instead of making such a claim.
