I was skeptical of this because I had never heard of the brand and because it was so much cheaper than the other at-home IPL devices. I'm glad to say that I'm pleasantly surprised. I have PCOS and have a lot of thick black hair that grows on my jawline and chin, and it was getting worse as I got older. It got so bad that I was having to shave daily before work or else it would be extremely noticeable. I started using it the last week of October, and now (about a month later) I can tell a huge difference. It's not growing in as fast and there are patches where there is no longer hair growing at all. I've had laser hair removal at salons before, but it's obvious that they do it on a low strength to keep people coming in. I got tired of spending so much money for so little results and decided to do it myself. Since I've had it before, I started at the highest setting and have been doing it consistently 2 times a week. It has a ring on it that is supposed to keep it cool, but after a while of using it, it warms up, but not to the point of it being hot and unable to use. The device itself is easy to use and the instructions are easy to read, but it is a little bulky. Again, not so much so that it's difficult to use. I would recommend this to anyone, especially people with hormone problems like I have, as it has worked wonders and has helped my self esteem so much! I was embarrassed to wear my hair down and if I forgot to shave, I felt like everyone was staring at me. I love this device. I have spent thousands and thousands of dollars on treatments at different doctors offices that promised permanent results. None of those results were permanent and I ended up spending a ton of money on treatments that were never effective.
