I really wish I could prove that it works. It does prevent hair from re-growing over a period of time. This stuff works! It works great, you just have to stick with it, don't rush it, take your time and keep the flash perpendicular to your skin. The results are great! Definitely worth the investment.

So the only type of hair removal device that I have used and still use is a laser. I use a top-of-the-line laser at home laser treatment unit and it’s a heavy unit because it’s chargeable and cordless. This unit is actually an IPL device, so it uses an intense light pulse to help zap away hair and to break the cycle of hair growth. As with all hair removal devices that use either laser or IPL, they do have a finite amount of zaps, for lack of a better word. this one has over 999,000 zaps in it, so it’s gonna last you quite a while. This is a really sleek looking design and it also has a cooling section on the light source, so if you feel some heat, you can just move the device over that area and it cools down the temperature on your skin. Just like a laser device, you should shave before using this. I did try this on both a shaved area and a not so recent shaved area and there is a difference. When I use this in the shaved area, it was pretty much pain-free, and it did not hurt at all. I had it on a setting of four and I didn’t feel any pain or excess heat. I did feel the cooling area on the device and that was nice. Even though I had shaved in this area where I tested it, I could smell some burning hair. Obviously, that was some hair growth that I didn’t quite get all the way with shaving. When I went to the area that I didn’t shave, I could definitely smell burning hair. the hair did look like it had been burnt because it was a little curly and when I went to brushed it off my skin, it crumbleb like burnt hair. So if you ever needed a reminder about that this is an intense light pulse, burning hair should tell you that. This is normal though, so don’t think that the scent of burning hair or the fact that your hair does burn is somehow abnormal - it is not. The device is actually quite lightweight but the downside is, it is not wireless or cordless. You have to plug this in. There is no internal charge for it, that’s why it’s so lightweight. It’s 1/2 dozen or six of the other, so you just have to pick your battles with this one. Do you want it to be lightweight or do you want it to be cordless? This also this kid also comes with a plastic razor, goggles that you should wear while using the IPL device, and the charging unit. It’s a really easy device to use and based on my preliminary testing on this for the last few weeks, I do feel that it does work. I have been using it every night for the last few weeks as I want to stop the cycle of growth and I find that using this every night helps. After a month, I will use it for three or four times a week and then once the hair is under control, a few times a month. I have a lot of hair on my legs and this is what I’m going to use it for as this device is not painful whereas the laser device I have does sting. This one does not sting, so that is why I’m going to use it on the larger areas of my body.
