"Buying this device has been a huge quality of life improvement for me. I have fair skin and thick, dark body hair all over my arms, legs, toes, etc. I used to get severe razor burn shaving my thighs, no matter WHAT I tried—and I tried everything. There are some patchy areas around my body that stubbornly refuse to get zapped, but I went from needing to shave daily to shaving once every other week max, and only before my sessions (which I’ve reduced to biweekly). I keep my eyes closed and turn my head away the entire time I do this, so for me, the extra caution is just wasting my time. Frankly, no one should be looking at the machine when it flashes to begin with, and yet, even with the safety feature, I’ve had this stupid thing flash OFF THE SKIN on accident before.
