The large frame for the light bursts covers much more territory than other IPL hair removal guns we have tried. That makes for much less time needed to complete each treatment. This unit seems a bit more effective at beating back dark hair than other products, as well. We haven't tried the skin spots feature. I have been using every other day for two weeks now. I’m slowly starting to see a difference, hair isn’t growing back as quickly. I’ve been using the auto feature on level 9 from day one. Using on underarms, bikini line, navel area, and face/neck (thanks PCOS). It can be a little slow on auto mode, but I’ll take that over pushing the button every time. I plan to continue using every other day to see how long it takes to really start noticing real results. If I see good results on these areas, I’ll start using on my legs too. I am a very hair person, dark thick hair. Can’t afford to do laser hair removal in a clinic so this is the next best thing. I’ve shaved and waxed most of my life. I’m very excited to see how this works! I’ve done 2 rounds so far and do feel like it’s not growing back over night! I’ll update after a month or so! As for the actual laser, it’s nice! I really do like this product but I wish it worked faster. I also wish it wasn’t such a long wait time from one flash to when it’s ready to flash again. I could easily spend 30-50 minutes thoroughly doing my legs, armpits, and hoohah. I’ve been using it for several weeks now pretty consistently, and I can definitely tell that the hair is growing slower and in some places stopped growing back. I just wish it worked faster. I don’t know how long it’s going to take to make it stop growing back completely, but I think eventually it will work fully since I’m seeing results. I have been using this about 2-3 times a week for nearly two months now. I am very pleased with the results so far. Previously, I HAD to shave every single day. I am now able to go 4-5 days without shaving. I also use it on my husband as well. This has drastically reduced his neck hair, which makes my life easier as well! Pleasantly surprised by this device. I’ve only used the hair removal feature but already noticed a difference in hair growth after using it only two times on my legs. Just make sure to shave before using it and press it hard enough against your skin for direct contact. Also be cautious using it on areas that have more bone than fat… pretty sure I gave myself small radiation burns around my ankles and knees when I first used it because I had it on the highest setting.
