Easy to set up and operate with clear instructions and a nice display. Results are based upon both skin tone and hair color. For me the device works on the darker, more bold hairs. Where it does not work is the light soft hair which must be because these hairs are light in color. I am referring to hairs that are almost like a soft fuzz but still are growing on face and I have to manage with tweezers. Company states clearly that it doesn't work on the lighter color hairs which must be my case. Also if you are older and starting to gray, those gray hairs are resistant also.

I like the shape, with a slight curve that I think makes it easier to hold. The device seems like it's better quality than most other IPL devices and seems to work well. The cooling function is nice and the kit includes a simple razor and sunglasses that you would want to protect your eyes with during use. Overall it seems like a good value as long as it lasts which I expect it will.

This device is ergonomically terrible, because you have to hold the IPL lens flush to the skin in order to activate the IPL light pulse. This requires you to hold the weight of the wide main body at a difficult angle for your wrist across the majority of the body area you might be IPL pulsing. The size and weight of device at odd angles, along with the power cord attached and smooth narrowing holding surface, makes it even harder to hold and at risk of being dropped. Even at the easiest frontal parts of the body you might be pulsing, the angle of the device is inconvenient and not ergonomic for the wrist. It also adds a ton of time wasted per session struggling to get the lens flush to the skin for each 0.5 inch x 1.25 inch section of skin covered by the IPL lens per pulse, and then properly positioning for the next pulse to get proper full coverage across an area, easily taking more than 10 times more time spent per session than an easier to use 90-degree head design. Test what I mean with a typical hair dryer with the nozzle at 90 degrees to the handle, holding the output nozzle flush to the skin across your shoulders or back incrementally from the spine out to the arms (and/or your intended target areas) and feel how easy it is to maintain flush contact with the skin, compared to some nearly straight testing object even a hairbrush, to mimic this IPL, to feel how difficult those angles are to get the (pretend testing) 'end' flush with the skin across the majority of the body. The very slight angle of this IPL device lens head relative to the handle, and similar IPL up to 45 degrees, barely has any improvement on ergonomic ease of use. Many IPL devices are nearly straight in-line to 45 degrees relative to the handle, but there are a selection that have IPL lenses at 90 degree angles to the gripping handle, similar to a hair dryer, that would be far more convenient and easy to use, and the pricing seems similar. This IPL seems to perform fine, results are slow to develop as expected for IPL devices, but I now know for the future and wish I had bought a 90-degree IPL.

This laser hair remover is very easy to use and pain free. I have never used one of these before so I don’t really have anything to compare it to. I have used it for a few months and the results are not dramatic by any means, but I do notice my hair is a little more sparse on my legs. Will update my review after a few more months of use.

I tried out this Laser Hair Removal Device to see how well it would work to eliminate hair growth for an extended period in a few specific areas. I found this device to be unwieldy and difficult to handle as it is quite large and heavy for one handed operation. I also found the results to be inconsistent and sometimes ineffective.
