Admittedly, I approached this laser hair removal device with cautious optimism. After all, who wouldn't be skeptical of promises of permanent hair removal from the comfort of your own home? But after five weeks of consistent use, I'm a full-fledged believer. This little gadget truly delivers! I am very impressed with this hair removal device. It delivers what it promises: permanent and painless hair reduction for different body parts. I have been using it for more than a month now and I can see a significant difference in my hair growth. The device is easy to use once you get the hang of it. The instructions are clear and simple, but the videos on the listing page did not help me much. The best part is the cooling feature, which makes the treatment comfortable and soothing. It feels like a cold breeze on your skin as the laser flashes. Before using the device, you need to shave the area you want to treat and make sure it is clean and dry. You should not apply any products before the treatment, but you can moisturize your skin afterwards. You also need to be careful around tattoos and moles, as they might get irritated by the laser. I suggest using a lower setting for those areas. The device has different settings for different skin tones and hair colors. I have bronze skin and black hair, so I experimented with different settings until I found the best one for me. My mustache is gone now and I love it. I have been recommending this device to my friends and family. The treatment is painless, as long as you follow the manual correctly. I use the device 3-4 times per week, and it takes me about 15 minutes to do both legs. My armpits take only a minute each. The hair on my legs and armpits is much thinner and sparser than before. I estimate that I have reduced my hair by 70%. I use the maximum setting for my legs, and I have not experienced any burning or skin discoloration. The device is easy to operate and has a nice design. It flashes when it is in contact with your skin, and you can choose between manual or automatic mode. The only issues I have with the device are the LED indicator lights and the noise. The LED lights on the case that indicate the mode and the intensity level are very dim and hard to see, especially with the dark glasses that come with the device. I was a little apprehensive about using this at first... After all, who wants to take a high powered laser, place it point-blank against your skin, and nuke your hair follicles to never-never land?? Yeah, well that's exactly what I decided to do. Was tired of fighting the hair war and the shaver wasn't pulling it's weight... so... time to vaporize things - haha. Needless to say, the instructions do state very clearly to start at a "low intensity" level at first... guessing this is so you can get used to it?? It also started that you want to use the laser AFTER you have shaved the area in question. Which I thinking..."hmmm okay...but wasn't that the whole reason I got this, was to nuke the hairs from my body to begin with??" So let me explain...at least the way I understand how this works according to the instructions. The basic idea or concept here is that the high power light basically kills the hair follicle from further growth. So yes...you did shave, but after the laser bombardment, the next growth of hair will be far less...and the more treatments you do, the less hair that comes back. Okay... so I'm good with that. But the other big question I had was... "is this going to hurt?" Again...remember... Powerful laser...point blank....against skin... what could go wrong? The kit does provide you with tinted glasses to "protect your eyes", which I was thinking... "haha...what a bunch of idiots. How could the laser hurt my eyes when it is clearly covered by my skin? there is literally NO direct exposed area that the light could get through! ...right???"... well... boy was I wrong -hahaha. Holy crap is this thing bright! Even when placed fully against the skin, it is SUPER BRIGHT! Thankfully, I did humor them and begrudgingly had the glasses on when I first used it. I guess I was expecting something like the flash from a camera, except having the flash go off while covering the flash bulb with your hand (which I don't recommend BTW). But the flash from this seemed to be 1,000,000 times more intense. It was like the flash bulb from your camera and an arch welding rod decided to have a baby and name it the 'Laser Hair remover'. Seriously, this is VERY bright. Like a super nova going off in the room against your skin (and that was the "low intensity" setting). Surprisingly though, it didn't hurt. Yeah, you can feel it, and it is warm, but the air cooling system is extremely effective. It does leave your skin a very, VERY light shade of pink. But it's nothing to worry about. As time has went on, I have taken the intensity up as high as it will go, and it isn't that bad. So...the next question was...did it work?? The answer is... yes. It does seem to be very effective it reducing the hair growth. It didn't eliminate all the hair. But over time, I am guessing it will get less and less.... or maybe I'll get skin cancer from it and chemo will remove whatever hairs remain. Look... kidding aside...the laser seems to work great from what I've seen. The only downside is the amount of time setting it up and putting it away... that's it. Its been fun to use, I still have to shave the conventional way, but with far fewer hairs than before... and that makes me smile. Great product! Fun to use... just for the love of hank....WEAR THE GLASSES!!!! hahaha!

I got this because of its painless cooling feature and to see if I could actually use it. I have been trying to find an IPL hair removal device that was not painful and after using this one, I am certain this was a very good choice indeed. I tried all the different power levels on my leg to test it and none of them hurt. It just felt icy cool on my skin. This is actually the first one I have found that allows me to actually use it on my skin color which I am all smiles about ! I am also very happy with the extra long cord so I don't have to sit right by the power outlet and can stretch out to do my legs. I like the way it feels in my hand as far as grip goes and being able to hold and use it. It seems to be the perfect size for using for long periods of time comfortably as well as being able to reach those hard to get spots like under the knees and underarms. Since this is the first one I have actually found as an IPL that allows me to use it on my darker skin color it will be months before I can see how well it does removing my hair. But I am super excited to actually get the process started. I am really glad I got this and so far I am definitely all 5 stars on this. Good Luck and Hope this was Helpful !
