This sewing kit exceeded my expectations. Truth be told I was going to get a cheaper one. I asked myself if I really needed all the different color threads this one comes with. A lot of times when I need to make a repair all the notions come in handy and this kit didn’t disappoint. It truly has anything you’re going to need. The kit comes with plenty of needles in different sizes. One package is self threading. The two scissors, while not top quality, they get the job done. The thread is what really surprised me. I am a thread snob and always buy top quality. This thread is definitely passable. I tested it by pulling on it with my all and it didn’t snap or give. What really shocked me was the amount of thread on each spool given the price. See my photos. I couldn’t tell by their photo and thought ok…lots of colors but probably not much thread on each spool. No. There’s a lot of thread! This kit all in all is a great value for what you pay. The book Style case is fabulous as well. Not flimsy. Zips all the way around to keep everything contained. I really love how anything I’d ever need to make a repair or stitch something by hand is contained all in this one kit. Don’t hesitate. Just buy it. You will not regret!

I really love this sewing kit! All my life, my 'sewing kit' has been whatever I've been able to knock together. But I'm always misplacing it or wondering where the needles are, because here's the thread; or where did the scissors go? It's so convenient to have everything in one place. I've used it to repair a couple of things so far and, again, the best part is just having everything together so you just have to grab one thing and get sewing. And this does it!
