It wiped away without any issues and didn’t leave a stain! I used only water to pull the mud off, and the water actually balled up and didn’t seep into the rug at all! This rug absolutely exceeded my expectations! First, I am blown away by how soft this rug is. Second, my two toddlers proceeded to get dirt on it 5 minutes after laying it down. It completely wiped away! I am so glad I picked this one, because the other washable rug I got felt like a mat. This one feels more like a soft blanket! I'm so happy to finally have a white rug that will stay white! I like the rug. It's soft, and looks great. The only bad thing is you can't vacuum it! I've tried two different vacuums, and both suck up the carpet and get tangled up in the rotor. I've even tried starting in the middle of the 6x9 carpet, same response. In order to clean the carpet, I have to use a broom, which doesn't get everything up (especially dog hair). ... show more
