Once everything was received, we replaced our father’s old chair with this one because he was healing from open heart surgery. The only reason I gave this four stars is because I don't care for the fabric (it's cheap looking & balls up like a sweater on the arms). It is a very big chair, I'm a big person & my chihuahuas fit up here with me! The mechanism seems perfect. I've been using my chair for almost a year now with zero issues. The foot rest could go a bit higher for my taste but, all in all, this chair is worth the money. It certainly has made my life easier after my knee surgery!!! ❤️ 🇺🇸 ... show more

How is there only good reviews!? The chair is hard, vibrating is loud and you don’t feel it. Never felt the chairs heating work. Lift is odd - first you slide downward as it lifts and then you still have to scoot to the edge to get off. I’m 5’8 and didn’t touch the ground. The back of the chair feels like there is a gap between top and bottom to where you’d most likely have to have a pillow behind you. Don’t leave a cup in the cup holder as you lift! Just over all not satisfied. Now to return it you have to take it all apart put it back in the damaged boxes (from shipping) take it to town and pay out of pocket to ship it back. Nit worth the $600 and definitely not worth the trouble of returning it. ... show more

Years ago, I had surgery on my lower back and have not been able to sit comfortably in a standard recliner since. I researched the internet looking for a lay flat recliner and read all the reviews listed for each one. Unfortunately, there are negative reviews on everything so I had to make the best decision I could. Being only 5'1", I was afraid of the designation of "large" even with the dimensions given. I am happy to say that my purchase of this chair has not disappointed me. It fits me perfectly! When I first sat in the chair, I thought it might be a little too firm for my bad back, but when I reclined in the laying position, I had no back pain at all. That's a first as all other recliners caused pain, probably because they didn't recline far enough. All the functions of the chair work and there is very little noise to it. I like how I have numerous reclining options and can adjust the footrest separate from the back if I so choose. The chair was fairly easy to assemble and the most difficult aspect for me was hooking up all the wires. This seems to be a solid recliner, yet I have no problem moving it on my linoleum floor when I want to vacuum. Needless to say, I am very happy with this purchase and my back is even happier! ... show more

This operates as expected with full range of motion and heat & vibration as well as a tip up function to aid in getting up out of it. I'm very satisfied with it. It may seem expensive for some people but it was well worth it for this old fart.

While this product didn't work as designed due to internal mechanism failing to hold the foot rest in position. The staff who sell this product immediately replaced the recliner for a new one without any pushback. Customer Service only requested evidence of the failure of the foot rest, so I attached a video to support the claim. Thank you for your cooperation to make this right. ... show more

I am updating my review to 5 stars. Customer Service reached out after I emailed them and are sending a new remote. I love this chair, its comfortable, nice looking. I am 5'2" and weigh 100 pounds. After visiting 4 local furniture stores and trying all the recliners, all of them were just to big and more money. I took a chance and ordered this one, I am so glad I did because all the recliners I sat in did not recline flat and were not as comfortable as this one. The material is cozy and soft. Color perfect.
