This pen arrives in 2 packages,sobe prepared that they may not arrive together. It also comes in pieces, not panels. I didn't fully understand that when I ordered. At any rate, we separated out the pieces and searched for instructions, which we did not find (more to come on this)...minus instructions, it took about 3 hours to put the pen together (with no issues...the pieces are pretty self explanatory on how they go together). After we got the pen together and went to put on the tarp, we found the instructions with the tarp, so know that the first thing you need is likely packaged with the last thing you need!!! The tarp is not the highest quality, so be prepared to fight with that part and then replace it with a higher mil tarp! Otherwise, this is a recommended purchase. My 2 springer spaniels have room to move and stay safe when I'm not able to watch them outside.

This kennel from PeakPursuit / HOO BRO is genuinely dangerous and absolutely not worth the price. The bars are flimsy and flex easily. Medium and large dogs are strong enough to push through the bars if they want to get out, which is DANGEROUS AND COULD LEAD TO DEATH. This is not a secure enclosure. If a dog panics, jumps, or applies pressure, the structure gives way. Calling this “heavy duty” is misleading at best and negligent at worst. None of this kennel is high quality. The materials are thin, poorly welded, and weak for the size advertised. At most, this kennel should cost around $75, not hundreds of dollars. The price does not match the quality in any way. This product should not be marketed for dogs at all. At best, it may be appropriate for goats or similar livestock. If it is sold, buyers should be clearly warned to line the inside with chicken wire or similar reinforcement so nothing can push through or force its way between the bars. Selling this as a dog kennel without those warnings is unsafe. Assembly was extremely difficult. My daughter and I are both ADHD and autistic, and the instructions were poorly written, unclear, and overwhelming. Once assembled, the kennel does not come apart easily. We required outside help just to put it together, and we no longer have that help to take it apart. Because of this, we are stuck with a large, unsafe kennel that we cannot safely use and cannot reasonably disassemble for return. We do not have a safe place to put our dogs outside despite paying a high price for something advertised as secure for medium and large dogs. We have received no response from the company regarding this safety issue. Given the safety risk, misrepresentation, and the disability related barriers involved, I am demanding a full refund. This product is a liability and should not be sold as a dog kennel. I strongly recommend avoiding this kennel entirely unless you want a dangerous liability sitting in your yard.

Its functional however door should he sturdy or reinforced not the best for hyperactive intelligent dogs as mine have figure pit that if she plays enough with the door it will loosen up the door frame screws giving her the opportunity to push enough and get out

The cover that comes with this dog kennel is not the same as advertised, it only has a couple holes to secure the top compared to the several shown in the picture. Also the top doesn’t fit well at all, no matter which way you orientate it. Several tubes also came with damaged ends that I had to round back out as well to assemble it. The hinges for the doors are also very loose and secured with rivets. So expect to have to drill those out and bolt the door so it’s actually secure.. I would have returned this product if I knew the cover didn’t fit…but after you assembly it your stuck with it. Don’t make my same mistake.
