This TOOHUB 4x6 area rug smells pretty bad out of the package. I'm expecting that not to be a problem once it has off-gassed in my garage for another week or two (after about one week it already seems to be getting better). The foam padding's thickness is agreeable to me, since i'm placing it on a carpeted surface. It is not super thick, so on a hard surface you may feel like you want it to be more padded, which as a buyer you may want to consider. I have foam padded pieces for standing in front of the sink to do dishes, for example, and those are far more thickly padded than is this rug. I really like the light grey/dark grey combination; to me it is far more interesting than a solid color, and easier to blend with the colors in it's surroundings. The pictures on the product page are a good reflexion of the rug itself when you see it in person (which is NOT always the case with products such as these). This area rug is WAY too over-packaged with plastic and tape; throwing the plastic shrink-wrapped rug in a small box would have been much better than encasing it in yet another piece of thick plastic and gobs of universally un-recyclable plastic packing tape. There's no reason to choke the earth with even MORE plastic than we are already destroying our planet with. I know most people don't even think about that, but I do, even though we are already doomed (specifically because not enough people care about over-packaging for stuff such as this, or for just about everything in a grocery store). On the positive side, this 4x6 sized rug IS a good value at the low 20's price point. As long as it stays in decent shape with only light foot traffic & does not easily fall apart with time, I'll be happy with it. I wouldn't call it Great, but will recommend it as Good.

I wanted a rug to place in our granddaughter’s room so she could crawl around comfortably, play with her toys, and often lay asleep on a nice plush fluffy rug. This rug met all my expectations and the marbles grey to white blended fibers match really nicely with her white bedroom furniture. I was pleasantly surprised when this rug arrived in its heat shrunk vacuum sealed packaging and I unpacked it to find such a large fluffy rug. I knew it was large, but it seems even larger when it is laid out on my floor! It is so extremely soft and fluffy. It is definitely a rug that requires a good vacuum, which sadly I no longer have since I have hardwood floors throughout my house. When our granddaughter or furry pets eat "cookies" on the rug, small pieces will definitely get stuck down in the fibers and you WILL step on them in your bare feet and feel it, so you have to either pick up the rug and shake it out, or vacuum it which our Roomba has no problem doing. Fortunately, wet messes are easy to clean up, and wipe right up, even with the deep fluff. It is pretty repellent and stuff wipes off without much effort. Our granddaughter already spelt her juice box on one spot and I quickly wiped it up with a damp cloth and it came right out without leaving anything behind. It claims to be machine washable and recommends placing it in a garment bag to do so, but I have not done so yet. I do plan to try and wash it just to see how it holds up, and to get the food particles out. It is a nice, soft, comfortable rug for your bare feet and I would honestly recommend it to anyone looking for a rug that isn't too fancy. The price is well worth it, and it holds up well to lots of traffic both human, little crawling human, and furry animals (Shepard and Labrador).

This black rug is beautiful and soft. Delivery was quick and I like the vacuum seal process they used, it minimizes having to deal with bulk trash. I gave it a 3 for all the likes listed above and deducted 2 because the rug doesn't having any gripping beneath it to keep it from moving and sliding around on the floor, which could be dangerous for anyone who steps on and is then forced to try and catch their balance out of fear of falling because the rug shifted underneath them. Thankful I keep double-sided tape in the house and was able to secure the rug. Be careful if you're going to use this rug on a smooth floor.

Well The first thing all say about this rug made by TOOHUB is your getting a lot of rug for your money at 4ft x 6ft. The rug comes vacumed packed so when you get it, it doesn't look like a 4 x6 rug but as soon as you get it out it fluffs up real nice. This would be a great rug for were ever a child has there toy box to play on. It's super soft and cushioned real nice. If vyou just wanted to lay down on the floor this would be a great rug to lay down on. I got the mixed dark grey so it won't be as easy to stain or show dirt being a single guy i'm kind of hard on rugs. It seems to be well made but being this type of rug i'm sure you are going to loose a few strands here and there. Overall I really like this rug and for the money it's better quality then i figured it would be but they recommend not to machine wash and that might be a problem for some people. To me it's a little big to be putting in the wash machine anyway i would just hang it over a cloths line or rope and spray it down with the garden hose then let it drip dry but thatv won't work in the winter time you would end up with a big frozen rat rug. Overall I would get it again if needed you can't really beat it for the money at it's size, the only thing is how long are all those fluffy strands going to stay attacthed to the bottom and only time will answer that question but if you get a couple years out of it i think you got your moneys worth.
