The media could not be loaded. Packaging on the product was fantastic. Very secured, very well protected during shipping. No damage to anything internally. On initial boot, the only issue I received was the wifi card was turned off by default. Other than that, it was a quick, standard install Windows 11 Home. Once in Windows, there was no bloatware to be had and only the default Windows install stuff that I needed to remove. Testing the specs on product page, everything checked out. Internally it's everything on the product page. From a functionality standpoint, it's a good daily use laptop for someone on the move that doesn't want to be chained down to a desktop. It has just enough RAM to keep it functioning well under moderate stress, just enough storage space to not need constant oversight, and a solid enough processor to handle most average needs. You won't be playing the most recent games on this laptop, but for what it's advertised as, it's great. Form factor of the laptop is nice. It has a very thin bezel, slim profile, and the keys feel solid when in use. The touchpad is sensitive enough to handle multi-contact well, allowing for me to scroll+highlight with ease. The screen is crisp, images and video display well without any artificing or tearing. The display lights on the keys are bright enough by default to be visible but not distracting. Speakers are loud enough for a small device, and the Bluetooth gave me no issues connecting a variety of wireless headsets and other hardware. This computer gave me the blue screen of death the very moment I plugged it in. The cursor acts wild on the mousepad, it keeps losing internet access on a very stable network and on the fifth month I owned it, it stopped working altogether. Massively disappointing.

I bought this to work at my Ebay store when away from my desk. It is fast, it responds accordingly. But the battery does not last but an hour or 2. I feel like I am always racing against a time clock to get as much work finished before the battery dies. I give this laptop 4 stars only because of the battery life. The media could not be loaded. In the past I owned a MacBook Pro, Dell, Lenovo, and the last was my Acer laptop with 360 rotation touchscreen. I still have MacBook but it's designated to something else. Acer was lovely (and pricey) but when the screen broke I had to look around for a budget laptop (Thanks recession) so I ran into this Chicbuy laptop. The screen size is really generous, especially for the price point. I process a lot of PowerPoint and Word documents and also a lot of Excel spreadsheets so I needed a large screen. This was perfect. The touchpad works nicely but I prefer using a mouse. If I'm doing something in my bed I'll use the touchpad as a quick fix and I found it to work well. The battery offers about 8 hours of operation and it charges pretty fast. It has 12GB RAM (working memory that accounts for all your applications in use) and 512GB ROM which is storage memory to store documents and download applications etc. Plus there's another 512GB expandable you can use to expand the memory via SSD. I am really pleased with the specs, especially for the price. I suggest always closing the windows and tabs you're no longer using because those being open affects the processing speed as they're putting pressure on those 12GB of RAM. This is the best thing we as users can do to maintain the computer speed, as well as deleting any junk files. Keys are so generously sized and feel soooo good! They're really easy to press, and kinda feel buttery soft but there is zero click-clacking. It really has that luxurious feel of a fancy keyboard. Again, the price point is awesome for the computer of this performance. Good battery life, good screen quality and good value for money. 100% recommend ... show more

First Off...Amazing packaging....like a Surface Pro level...:)) Biggest CONS, let's get these out of the way : 1./ 2-3 hour battery on You Tube watching. 2./ Quirks and complex initial setup. There are basically ZERO instructions. You will do best only if you have prior experience setting up tablets and/or laptops. 3./ Mine said it could not connect to my internet, but it did after several tries. When I was about to give up, it came alive all on its own. Just had to do internal things to enable a match to the US system ?? (ChicBuy is one of several brand names of this laptop, sold presumably worldwide.) 4./ Finding the Control Panel was a bit of a challenge. I wanted to adjust brightness and check the SSD brand. Got both, eventually. Now the PROS : 1./ Very nice display - good contrast and brightness. 2./ Adequate and clear speaker . ( I'm a senior with some hearing loss, so I appreciate being able to stream without the dang earphones, especially the Bluetooth ones.) 3./ Uses a decent above average SSD , and overall is pleasantly fast to boot and to load programs (apps). 4./ Overall appearance is equal to what I've compared in stores, ranging up to $649. Support is gonna be non-existent. This is a generic, with no service sites or phone support. Your support is you, or your closest relative with tech ability. I'm a few days into this, and still a bit on the fence, even tho I have 30 years experience with computers and smartphones (as an owner, not as a service person). I'm trying to find a source for a replacement battery, and that may be my deciding factor. Not to be nasty, but I'm now leaning a bit toward a Lenovo 3i 15.6"with 4GB/512GB for $60 more : that lack of known brand components , odd control panel interface, and battery replacement questions...those are tough to ignore. The Lenovo is not my favorite, but great value, and batteries are available for $40. ... show more
