The value of this hydroponics system is incredible! It costs almost half the price as it would have if I had tried to make it myself! I thought for sure that because of the price, it would be cheap and full of chemicals. I was actually pleasantly surprised when I opened the box and found a bunch of spare parts and manuals on how to set up a full hydroponics system! After taking these parts out and setting them up without glue, I went off to buy PVC glue to finish the job. It all went together fine until the last part. After slipping all of the tubes together except for the last horizontal one that holds plants, the vertical support pipes had already been locked in by the other horizontal tubes already glued in place. I had to cut part of the tube and it was a struggle, but I got it eventually and it works and looks great! The pump is very small and is about the size of two fingers put together, but it pumps adequately and works perfectly with the system along with the timer. I also had fears that it would be low, and the bottom row of plants would practically be on the ground, but that is not the case at all! It is well off the ground and I am no longer worried about my bottom row plants collecting dust. I also loved the baskets that this kit comes with. They are very well made and fit into the square holes very snugly and securely. It also comes with some foam grow media-type cubes, but I didn't trust those and set them aside. Overall though, this was probably the best thing I have ever gotten from China, and maybe one of my best purchases ever. I was really blown away by the value (it was a little tough to put together but after that it was fine). I definitely recommend this hydroponics system!

Easy set up. Pump is a little noise if you don’t have it in enough water. Works great we grew lettuce on all levels and for the price we got our money back after the first harvest so good value for the cost

Update, so I should have given the seller the chance before posting the previous review. They graciously reached out and offered to send the replacement parts. And after dialing in the water pump to slow down the flow I was able to get the overflow issue resolved. So note, that if you are not familiar with how to use the water pump, there's a dial on the side. Running it 1/3 open works perfectly, with no overflows. If you run the pump fully open, the dial is turned all the way to the right, the water will quickly collect in the bottom tube and overflow. Also, I highly recommend a large catch tray under this unit, just in case. This one fits perfectly, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0002NNWDW?ref=fed_asin_title Original review This kit had a couple of broken pieces but I was able to work around that, but the worse part is when the system is running the bottom front tube overflows. I have a try under there but I need a solution to fit this.

I actually followed the terrible assembly instructions. Finally figured out how to get all of the pieces together, connected the pump and started it up. My excitement ended there when I found that water was only flowing through 3 of the 4 plant tubes and dumping back into the bucket after the 3rd. Discovered that not all of the PVC pipes are clearly identified to be left side/right side. I had incorrect put a right side on the left in the lower sections causing the diverter to block flow past that point. It was frustrating and required full disassembly and a sharpie to draw flow arrows so I knew how to rebuild it. Within 5 days, the include tiny little water pump had died and now I have to go shopping for a higher quality pump. The concept is great on this and once assembled (correctly), I like it. Just not the cheap pump. I think for their assembly instructions, they should number the PVC pipes and then use that numbering in the instructions to make it foolproof.

As with most reviewers I found this item easy to assemble. Once assembled there are no directions on how to use. The pump worked fine, but the water level overflowed on some levels and didn't reach others. Even after numerous adjustments I couldn't get an even water flow. I couldn't even get water to flow on one side. I found it very difficult to drain the water that did flow completely out. I ended up having to suction the water out with a turkey baster. I'm really unclear why this grower has so many five star reviews. I cannot recommend this product at all and returned it. Big disappointment.

The media could not be loaded. Easy to assemble, mallet broke on first swing put honestly I wasn’t even expecting one. Great kit would’ve cost way more to buy all the fittings and PVC pipe alone not to mention trying to engineer it myself, which would’ve been a massive fail, anger, torment, and more or less breaking stuff and 13 trips to the hardware store. I can guaranteed this would have all ensued! No need to forget to mention all the stops at McDonald’s for the kids on the way to the Home Depot. Just the amount of time and anger I saved made this kit so worth the price I paid. One piece came broken and I was missing one piece, but the company sent me a quick replacement expedited wonderful customer service!

The system is decent especially for the price. Easy to put together. My issue is the timer on the pump doesn't work. It just stays off and never pumps. When the power is connected directly to the pump, the pump works but I don't want it to run continuously.
