We live on a lake in MN and in order to extend the water-sports season we’ve gotten some wetsuits for our kids. This one fit exactly as expected. It’s a little bit loose right now but by early next season should be a bit snugger and last our son through to the end of the year. I really like the reinforced knees these should help it hold up while kneeboarding.

Our 7-year-old is skin and bones. You can literally count his ribs. His older brothers have plenty of blubber on board to keep them warm, so he's always the limiting factor when we go to the pool or beach. He often takes breaks to warm up. Wetsuits have been especially helpful to keep him warmer on those borderline days at the beach. I prefer low-mid 80s at the beach, so I was also motivated to find another suit for him. He loves this suit. He's kinda small for his age (just turned 7 two weeks ago) but I got a size 8 so he can grow into it. It actually fits quite nicely. If your dude or dudette is big for their age you might size up even more. The quality appears to be excellent. If it doesn't hold up I will update the review. I suspect we will hand this down to our nephew once he grows out of it. Plus I think it's one of the more attractive suits at this price point. I am very pleased.

I think I got a size 7, I can't seem to find which size in my order details, but I'm pretty sure it was a size 7. Anyway, it fits my 3 year old daughter perfectly! The arms and legs are a tiny big long, but they scrunch up easily and it wasn't a problem. Very nice build quality, good thickness, nice stitching and a big, coarse zipper, just like I've seen on adult wetsuits. I'm not sure she'll be going out surfing in the ocean anytime soon, but it's great for keeping her warm at the beach or even in the pool during the cooler months.
