My bf just wanted to get these for his toothbrush and electric shaver since he goes through so many batteries. These actually provided more power to each of the devices than regular batteries, so i was impressed. You could actually feel the difference in power. The charge it came with only lasted about a few weeks of moderate use, but we haven't had to recharge them since the first time and it's been almost 2 months. They charged pretty quickly, unfortunately I don't know the exact time. We plugged them in before going to bed and they were good to go in the morning. I like the way they recharge too since they come with cords you plug directly into the batteries and you don't need to put them in a separate battery charger. We're not using these for anything crazy, so we're happy with them. We actually ended up buying another size from this company/brand and they work just as well.

I use 8 of them for an equipment so I had trouble finding 4 usb jacks with enough power to charge a pair each at same time.. I manage to find enough jack power for 6 of them and hard pressed to find morejack power for remaining 2 . C battery is large capacity and draws too much current to charge.. I have no problem with AAA or AA rechargeable ones but C battery is different. The batteries come with own charging cable each for two C battery. So one single USB jack is charging two C battery which is a bit too much for most jacks.

Getting a true 1.5v from a rechargeable cell is nice, if you have an application where the voltage matters. e.g. an LED light. However, the capacity is embarrassingly bad. The product listing here says that it's 550 mWh, which is a trick that vendors use to suggest that their product is better than it is. Most cells use mAh ratings, so if you're just skimming numbers, you might be deceived. A 550 mWh rating is only 337 mAh at 1.5v. If you look at comparable NiMH AAA cells, you'll easily find claimed ratings of 800 mAh. Which puts these cells at LESS THAN HALF of the capacity. And that's for the vendor-suggested capacity. Especially with the less reputable vendors, there's usually a good amount of exaggeration going on here. In my real-world usage of these cells (in a head lamp), the actual capacity is laughably bad. If you believe that these cells will last long between recharges solely because they're lithium, you will be in for a rude awakening. I did a test comparing the runtime of the cells in my head lamp. These cells lasted less than 30 minutes. My old NiMH AAA cells lasted more than 8 hours before I decided to just shut it off. Update: After less than one year of occasional use in a head lamp, one of the cells is completely dead. A 25% defective rate is unacceptable.

I thought these were a bit expensive but looked like what I needed. Charged all 6 I purchased per the instructions and according to the built in charge indicator they charged fine. Put them in two identical flashlights and one worked fine and one was dead after two days. Upon checking one battery was dead. Charged again and the same result, that one would not hold a charge. Tried to contact the manufacture using the email in the instructions and got no reply. Searched online and tried the email contact I found on a website for the company, again no reply. The remaining batteries that held a charge are still fine after a year. So for me a one in six chance of a bad battery.
