Install was the easy part, well almost... but most important before you get frustrated at the end of the install... when the fingerprint reader does not work properly is to go back and read the instructions-again! it did work as advertised once I re-read it for the 5th time! I think my install went long because I did run into some electrical wiring and had to relocate that so I was frustrated at the end. But it is a very nice in-wall safe with a good locking mechanism, and the biometric feature makes it easy to get to things when needed! ... show more

    • VIDEO FIX: Lock not working

Two star product ⭐️⭐️ WATCH VIDEO Product is actually very nice (structurally) but had some technical issues with the lock that customer support couldn’t help with. But here was the issue and the fix. When entering fingerprint/passcode, the pins would not drop immediately. Had to wiggle the wheel in order to disengage the lock. This gave me so much headache for a few days. I reached out to customer support, but no solution. They were kind enough to respond immediately. But I was screwed. Either return it, or deal with it. Luckily I found the solution. The screw in between the dead-bolt was installed too tight. But if you just loosen the screw between the bolts, it will work just fine. Hope this helps others. P.S. Ive come to realize my safe was pre-owned (when the user manual is folded several times, it’s kind of a dead give away). I can see why the previous owner returned it, as per my review above. It’s kind of sad that they resold it to me without refurbishing it. ... show more

Unit is as advertised, installation and set up was easy. The item did arrive in a re-taped box and had a dented corner with the paint chipped and flaked. I was able to bend the metal flat with a block of wood and a heavy hammer.

I love it, I have it in an inconspicuous place, it is easy to access and easy to open and close and I feel secure knowing I have certain things locked up. I love the biometrics.

Just received and installed. So far so good. Seems very solid. Install and set up was easy. Finger print, code, and key all work. Keep in mind that the lock assembly takes up some space inside.

    • Anyone Can Break Into a Langger Wall Safe!!!! It is UNSAFE!
DO NOT PURCHASE THIS ITEM!!!!! There is NO customer support for this wall safe! No 800 number to call for assistance and the website has an inaccurate email to send correspondence to. We have searched all over the web for an Owners Manual to assist us with NO LUCK. The safe does not lock despite trying it over and over. Basically we are left with a GIANT HOLE IN OUR WALL with no Langger Wall Safe installed. Huge mistake!!!! ... show more

The safe, really an in-wall cabinet is well made, easy to install between studs and and constructed of heavy gauge steel. The locking mechanism seems to operate flawlessly, with either the keypad or fingerprint reader. Only suggestion I would make is for it to be able to register more than one fingerprint. We recently installed the safe and so far we are very happy with it. Adding in the code was a little tricky...which we mostly blame on 'human error', ha! But adding in the fingerprint ID was super easy! We will most likely always open it that way. The company also sent us a gun bag, no charge, which we really appreciated.
