I read a question from a consumer about which is best Lanbitou pro 3 step or Little Giant. I have both. No question Little Giant! I weigh 180lbs when on the Lanbitou I can make it wobble from side to side. My L.G. is green fiberglass a nice advantage if you are in or near any potential electrical hazard. I can not move this L.G. I can not make it wobble at all. The treads are larger, the handrail is taller and the feet are bigger. It is a beefier, stronger ladder. I have 6 including 2 Xtremes 17 ft. 22 ft. The Lanbitou, is not a bad ladder. Just not up to L.G. standards. I'm sure the positive 5star reviews are from people who have never used a Little Giant Jumbo Step. They cost a little more ( about $30 for fiberglass from L.G.) because you get a USA designed ladder by a USA company. ... show more

I recently looked at a little jumbo unit at a local hardware store used by employees for stocking. Feeling envious, I searched Amazon and found this unit. I like it. I think of myself as fairly mechanical, but I had no clue how to draw the front and back step rails toward each other to prepare the steps for storage, and the provided instructions did not help. There is a catch on the bottom side of the top step that needs to be activated before the rails can be brought together. Fortunately, a found a video that showed how to do it. ... show more

This step stool offers a sturdy aid for those who are getting older but still can perform fixes around the house. It's a bit heavy, but once in place, it offers the bar to hold at the top, as well as hand rails, and the steps are wide, flat, and deep. Much appreciated!

Just as described, good value for money. The legs have stops at step distance away so the leg length cannot be freely adjusted - only matters if you need to use the ladders in uneven surface such as in steps.

My husband and I love this step ladder. We are "larger and older" people and we feel very secure on this ladder even on the top step. It is a very clever design how the steps fold in and out. I also like how the top handle can fold down if not needed, but I like it up to steady myself. We purchased the three step, which for me, is a little too heavy to have as my indoor step ladder, so I am going to get the two step for in the house and hubby gets the three step for the garage.
