What I Liked: First off, both the AUX and power cords are generously long—super convenient for setup and flexibility. Connecting my phone via Bluetooth was quick and effortless. The touchscreen is very responsive, and the display quality is solid. While the Carpuride screen may be slightly brighter and sharper, I have no complaints at all about this screen—it performs well. The real standout, though, is the sound quality. I used the AUX connection, and the audio was noticeably better than what I experienced with both the Capapro and Carpuride models. I’ve been searching for one of these as an alternative to keeping my phone mounted on the infotainment area, where it overheats in the summer months. I have a MagSafe adapter that screws into the CD slot on my car, which is where I mounted this unit. I’ve been using this screen for a few months now, and it works pretty well! The CarPlay connects reasonably quickly, and the build quality is excellent compared to other portable CarPlay screens. Big screen is a plus as well. There’s only one caveat with this model. It’s pretty sluggish compared to other models I’ve tried. It’s honestly easier to adjust the music with your car’s radio/steering wheel controls, and easier to set up a navigation route on your phone than to type in your information in the CarPlay screen. Once you get the hang of navigating around the slow OS, it’s not too shabby! Definitely keeping this one, as it fits my needs perfectly. Something I discovered with this model in particular is the viewing angle is messed up when you’re wearing polarized glasses. If you wear polarizing glasses while you’re driving, the screen won’t be visible in landscape mode. You’ll have to switch the screen to portrait mode for it to be visible while driving.
