It's incredibly hard to find any specification on this light before actually purchase it, so I bought it and will share the specs with every one. 1. Voltage: AC 100-240V input DC 12V 1.5A output. 2. LED: 27 LEDs, 3 rows 9 LED for each row. 2 outer rows are white leds while the center row is yellow led. 3. Power consumption: 5-11W depend on brightness 4. Lumen: 530LM (I assume at max brightness) 5. Color Temp: 2500-7000K 6. 4 modes: (5 brightness for each mode) Reading: 4300~5300K (all yellow & white LEDs equally on) Study: 6000~7000K (mostly outer row white LEDs w/ little center row yellow ones) Relax: 4300~5300K (mostly center row yellow LEDs w/ a little white LEDs) Sleep: 2500~3300K (only center row yellow LEDs illuminate) The light is mostly good except the light can only be opened up and down and doesn't rotate sideways. Say if you wanna use it on a piano, you'd want the light head to be able to rotate. 1x 1A USB charge port on the side, which is pretty much useless since most cell phone or tablet require over 1.5A to charge in reasonable time. ... show more

LOVE this lamp! There are already a ton of reviews listing out all of the pros and cons, but I there is one feature I've not seen mentioned (albeit, I did not read all 5K reviews). I am using this on my nightstand, and a really neat feature of this lamp is that the lower, vertical part of the arm has a slit in it, which allows light to shine through in any of the lamps color and brightness modes/settings, turning it into a back-lit night light when you have it completely folded, providing just enough glow so you don't trip on the way to the bathroom, and don't like having a night light shining in your room all night. This is great for those who like to sleep in total darkness. Probably the only thing I don't love about this lamp is the shiny, dust- and fingerprint-magnet design. It would be cool if it had a matte finish instead of shiny black plastic. But I think this is a small price to pay for a lamp that is under $20. I see myself getting another one, and one as a gift for my son, who doesn't think he needs light to work/read by. All of the various color and brightness settings and the ease of use makes this totally worth the money. All the other great reviews are true! ... show more

Unfortunately when I plugged my lamp in, it melted itself in about 5 minutes. The bulbs were burning up after I had unplugged it. I hate leaving any negative review, but it needed to be shared. My home office desk has to do duty for low evening mood lighting, high intensity daytime accountant's papers, and everything in between. I started using this lamp one week ago. It's form duplicates the one it replaces, and I am, and was, in love with that for it's many adjustments. I bought it for the color options and it has totally changed my daily life. The options, both as to intensity and color scale, are myriad. Though both this and its predecessor worked at daylight white, this unit has several warm white settings, one of which you can see in the picture, and a range of brightness settings, so my early morning and late evening computer or desk work no longer jolt me into some alternate time universe, but keep me right where I want and need to be.     • A full year of useage
This desk lamp looks appealing at first and for the average person it may be but if your at the desk a lot this thing sucks. The abscenceof a brim around the leds means its going to constantly be beaming in your eyes unless you lower its position and by doing that the less themselves are not diffused enough to cast light and rather, cast a hot spot in that particular area. It doesn't swivel very well because its so unweighted and when you do force it to move its creaky and tries to bind up. There are at least a dozen of this exact same Chinese desk lamp right down to the internal hardware and they all vary in price so you can probably find it cheaper. Overall, if your looking for something quality that's going to last and don't want to waste anymore money on novelty Chinese made junk you should look elsewhere. ... show more

    • it was fantastic at the beginning
purchased the LED lamp in July 2016, it was fantastic at the beginning. Right at the 1 year mark (summer 2017), the light started to flicker/flash/blink. I have to unplug and plug it back in to "reset". The flicker/flash/blink problem will come back in 10 min or so, horrible!
