I wasn’t aware of Neon LED strips until I came across a 3D printed project that showed how to make “Neon” signs using this kind of light strip and a 3D printed framework to hold it. Unlike other LED strips, this is very easy to bend into curves and the silicone covering makes it look a lot like a real neon light. I am sure this will work well for that and I’ve thought of another use - replacing the fluorescent lights of a nice workbench magnifier that I purchased at a garage sale. A piece of this strip should make it much brighter and I won’t have to worry about finding replacement tubes. The switch and power supply, which I didn’t realize was included, should make it an easy job. I’m only going to need a short length of LED strip for that project, but this can be cut to length with scissors. The package includes quite a few silicone caps for covering the cut ends, and also 10 pieces of wire for connecting cut pieces together. That will require some soldering but it shouldn’t be difficult if you know how. Also included are a considerable number of plastic clips that you can use to attach the strip to something, either with screws or 3M tape, which are both included. The strip is very bright and I like the 6000K daylight color for workspaces, although I prefer the warmer white of 4000K for living areas and bedrooms. The seller says the LED strip is waterproof and I’m almost certain that’s true. I’m not so confident that the power supply is, although it might be. I may purchase a longer length of this to put under the edge of our deck, because our old dog is sometimes reluctant to go out in the dark. BTW, I attached this to a lab power supply and it drew 1.6 amps at 12 volts, or 19.2 watts. The included power supply says it’s good for 2 amps.

We put these under a twin sized bed, right down the middle, and now the bed looks like it's floating. Plus, it doubles as a night light at night for the littles. You can adjust the brightness of them, we don't keep it on full blast, just a nice soft light works for most situations. Easy to install, we did add some wire hooks that will prevent little hands from trying to work this loose, but only because this went into a kids room, otherwise, the included attachments would work fine. I like the look of this, it's bright enough, without being glaring, you can't see it directly, and it keeps little ones happy. I'm debating another one of these for the closet, it's really low light in there and this would work great if I wrapped it from the top and down the sides of the closet. I know the point of these is to bend them and turn them into custom lights, but I really liked the idea of something brighter for the kids, out of the way, I can put it where ever, and these fit the bill perfectly.

These are great bright, dimmable strip lights. I needed something under my cabinets in the kitchen around the coffee station. I initially tried to use the adhesive strips but they wouldn't hold the lights up in the position I needed them. I then added the screws which were very easy to install and are holding the clips in place. The lights are perfect for the area and I like that they are dimmable for evening entertaining and such. The kit comes with everything you need to install any length you need.

The color is really bright, the light is even, and they sent all the parts to split the rope into smaller segments to do hard 90s and extend it out. It looks like a neon tube when you see it from a distance, but works awesome in display cases, but I bet it would amazing as a sign as well.

I specifically got a strip of lights that I could plug in, in case I wanted to put it in a timer switch to turn it on/off at certain times. I ended up installing the strip in my laundry closet so I don’t have to go around the corner to turn on a light and set my laundry. The strip seems heavy-duty and it’s nice and bright. The little switch is simple and usually works at first touch.

As you can see from the pic, this package was cracked open, torn, then stapled shut. When I ordered it, the picture was of a white light but the description said it was cream. Upon plugging it in I found this light only shines white. Mind you, it's a brilliant, beautiful white light, but we wanted a cream light to put beneath the frame of our bed. This light is too harsh for that. The dimming option works with this light, but it's a manual control and you need to dim the light back to your preferred brightness every time you turn the light back on. Overall, this shopping experience was poor and we didn't get what we ordered. What we did receive was already used and poorly presented. That aside, the potential for this product is great. It's a very bright, white light that can be used in many applications.
