I have an iPhone XS which is one of the biggest phones Apple makes, and a pretty thick protective case, but this stand still has a ton of room to spare and the cushioning didn’t scratch my phone at all. I drive a 2010 model car without a built-in screen, so needed a better option for holding my phone than just leaving it "loose" in the console. The ratings for this ask for feedback on "suction power" and "adhesion", but this really works with a clip that attaches to an air vent, then clamps securely around my smart phone. It was easy to install and has been working great. It also seems like it will be pretty durable, although I've only had it for a few months so far. Bought this after trying three other cell phone car mounts. I did not want something which would permanently mount to my vehicle. This was easy to install and took only two minutes to mount in my vehicle. Holds the phone solidly yet easy to put the phone in and take out one handed. Phone does not bounce around and mount has stayed firmly in place over the last five-thousand plus miles over many pot holes and bad bumps. First the mount didn't fit my 2006 F150. The part that holds the mount to the vent is not long enough to grab on to the vent "blinds". The truck does have deep vents unlike many other vehicles.
