I've been using this Lahome rug in my kitchen, where it gets a lot of foot traffic, and I've been very happy with it. The insect print is unique and charming, adding a fun touch without being overwhelming. My biggest concern before buying was whether it was really washable. I'd never owned a washable rug before, and I was worried that once it was soaked with water it would become so heavy it might strain or even damage my washing machine. Thankfully, that wasn't the case at all. It washed beautifully, and my washer had no issues with the spin cycle. The rug came out surprisingly light—not overly wet or heavy—and I simply draped it between two chairs to air dry, as recommended. It was completely dry within a couple of hours. The rug is fairly thin, but that actually makes it easy to clean. I vacuum it with my stick vacuum between washings without any problems. It does slide a little on my tile floor, so if that's a concern, a rug gripper may be helpful. This isn't the same quality or thickness as a traditional wool rug, but that's not really the point. The convenience of being able to toss it in the washing machine makes it a great option for busy areas like kitchens, entryways, or homes with pets and kids. The rug is wonderful. The shipping takes several days, tho. The material is soft but the rugs are paper thin, there is no padding when stepping on it bc it's meant to be machine washable. The details are really great. Dark colored moths, dragonflies and butterflies on a black background and a very light colored boarder. I have already bought the mats for the stairs (mouse pad like material, love them) and a few carpets all matching and will eventually have all the rugs match. Love this rug. I was worried that the design would look cheesy because it is printed on but you really cannot tell. It appears more expensive than it was. really pretty, nice quality- a regular washing machine without an agitator has worked well. I have a giant breed dog that has to be on steroids for the rest of her life so she's kind of incontinent when she's having a bad day - I've washed it probably 7-8 times and it holds it's shape and quality and color perfectly. My ONE comment about it is that the surface is soft like a blanket, which is nice for my feet, but really unhelpful for my dog that has issues getting traction when she's trying to stand up. But I realize most people aren't buying a rug for the specific reasons that I did, so overall it's great. I've been converted into the washable rug club. Great quality and value for money. Doesn't shed. Doesn't seem to get dirty quickly and doesn't have a weird smell like some rugs do. I would love if they would make a high-low pile version of this type of rug more often to give it a little texture on top. ... show more

Very soft but very thin. Works well enough but will surely wear through pretty fast. Threads aren't entire color, so underneath is white. Very pretty bugs.
