The ideal boot for less than ideal conditions. When it comes to protecting your feet on hazardous job sites, our premium, hand-laid rubber formula is relentless. Already highly abrasion-resistant and waterproof, we added an alloy toe and metatarsal guard to our Meta-Pac to meet ASTM standards. A reinforced ankle area helps prevent injuries while working on rough and uneven terrain. Adjustable lace-up top helps you to achieve a perfect fit around the calf. To top it off, the outsole is constructed from a premium Vibram 132 Montagna compound with deep lugs that provide unparalleled traction in any work environment.

My coveralls thank me for being able to tuck the legs in and stay clean when I'm slogging through calf-deep mud, and that bad-ass tread on the bottom keeps my behind from slipping off of wet, frozen equipment and busting my hump. If you want your friends to look at you and say, 'Man, that guy looks like he's wearing princess slippers,' go ahead and get some other boots. One reason I ordered these boots is because people complained of them being too narrow-I have a very narrow foot(9A). I had to “shim” them like I do all american footwear I buy with the orange Superfeet insoles and wear the heaviest mountaineering sock I have(Smartwool’s). Aside from that, these boots are performing as intended; I wear them for ground work with my tree service business in Southeast AK. Great traction, no worries of logs rolling on my feet nor clipping a foot with a chainsaw, no concern of dropping a chain on my feet-these are bombproof!! They are on the heavy side-but I have had no problems wearing them all day. So far they are still completely waterproof as of 1/21/19. ... show more

i wore this same boot in the deep mines for years and always had good wear out of them. now i work in the oilfield and you get better life out of them. they are not insulated but if you wear thick socks you wont know the difference. in real cold weather your better to get insulated ones though. good boots. great seller ... show more

I've worn these boots for years with my work and gone through several pairs. This year I had to buy one on my own time. I purchased it back in January. 2 months later there is a hole leaking water already. The boot itself is very nice. 3 Stars because the fit is HUGE. I wear a size 10 in everything and am absolutely awash in these. Order your regular shoe size ONLY if you plan on wearing an insole and a HEAVY wool sock. Otherwise order a size down.

Tried all kinds of boots, these are keepers. I work in water and mud all shift and these boots are comfortable, I wear a size 12 and ordered 12s, great fit and built like a tank. If you want your feet dry, this is it! Worth the money.
