I have been using the soft Mexican (Mayan) string hammocks my whole life. They're wonderful but do not hold up well outdoors and run kind of small. This weather resistant hammock is not only beautiful but pretty much perfect in every way. I was worried about the texture becasue the images make it seem very rough. Its kind of a rough-smooth feel and actually very comfortable on the skin. It's extremely breathable fabric that can hold up through any weather. It's a very large hammock that lets you look out but also had the added benefit of privacy when needed. It's very sturdy and could definitely handle holding 2 people for cuddles. Will definitely be buying another soon so I can put them all over my yard!!! Mwahahaha!!! 😈

This hammock is well balanced and the fabric appears like it will hold up for years. I like that it is washable. The hammock comes with directions. You will need to buy straps separately. It is easy to get in and out of and folds around you like a cocoon if that is what you want. You can lay in it length wise or width. It is very relaxing. My only complaint is the weave of the material feels a little rough. Cotton is usually softer to the touch.

So far, So good. I will probably purchase 2 more of these hammocks. I ordered, hoping it would arrive in time for memeorial day. I contacted the seller, and she made sure it did. Its very popular when i have gatherings. The colors are bright, the material is strong and the hammock is very comfortable. You can wrap yourself in it like a cocoon and take an afternoon nap. We purchased the tree straps separately, which were very easy to put on. Me and my husband cuddle in it together(400lbs) and we never felt uncomfortable like its going to tear or we're going to fall. I searched for a durable, heavy weight hammock and this totally met my expectations. As a precaution and to prolong the fabric, we bring it in on days it rains. This hammock is worth the money. I would totally recommend and will be purchasing again in the future.

I like hammocks. This one is nice. A pigeon just pooped on it so I will see how it does in the washer. *updated 1 month review* I could not find the same spot that had the pigeon poo after the wash. The worst of the stains is still visible- but that’s probably because I didn’t wash it for a week after it got bombarded. The anchor system works great for my space-free house. Very accommodating and secure. I still like hammocks. I still like this one.

These are nice hammocks, they have an interesting gathered end but are well made. They are big, easily big enough to lay at an angle. They have a lot of stretch, you need to hang a bit tighter than you think. My onky negative is the material is solid fabric so it doesn't breath well. If it's hot out you won't get much a breeze and it going to be hot.

I have left it outside at my campsite for a couple of weeks now and it has endured a couple of rainstorms, lots of sunshine and has dried quickly, has not faded at all and is thus far meeting my expectations!
