So I have been in La looks Product user since I can ever remember so 35 yeaes + I was deeply saddened and nervous when they stopped selling the product #10. It was just outrageous to buy it. I came across product number nine and was very standoffish about how it was going to stand up to number ten. I got to say equate surprise me. It doesn't hold up as good as number 10.But for majority of the day , my curls stay locked locked in place. There is some Frizzing that happens later in the day. But overwhelm , I am quite surprised by the product durability. This gel works great for multiple hair types. Even though everyone in our family uses it, we’re still on the first bottle after months! It holds my curls, styles my husband and son’s straight hair, and holds those frizzy flyaways in place for dance recitals!

I've been using this hair gel for a long time now. Put a little dab in your hand and rub it in damp hair. Comb to shape. Let your hair dry and comb it again and it fluffs up. Girls will go wild! ;-)

I have used other gels for the last several years and find I really need it to keep the form in my curls and to help with some of the frizz. I'm not a strict devotee of the Curly Girl Method; I have found that some of the tips work great for my hair and other tips do not. That's ok - we're all individuals and you have to find what works for you. The gel that I've used for the last 5 years (no need to name it) I swear that they have changed the formulation now. It just doesn't hold the curl that it did in the past. I was a little panicky - once I find something that works, it's tough to get me off it. A lot of on line curlies strongly recommend LA Looks Gel. I was trying other things to no effect, so I figured why not. I can't tell you how pleased I've been with this product! My curls hold, my frizz is back down and my hair isn't crunchy like it was with my other product. I highly recommend this for curly girls if you need to use gel. Works great!
