I purchased this suit originally at Lord & Taylor but that store has since gone out of business. I quickly fell in love with this brand. I am middle aged, 5'4", @130lbs, and conscious about my middle area. This suit is very flattering. I had it in hot pink but this year got the red. I always get tons of compliments when I wear this piece. Buy it, you'll love it.

I’m 5’4” 135-140lbs 34B and ended up getting side 10 due to my long torso. It fits ever so slightly large, but it was the best fit. optimally I would probably need a 6 or 8 long. In la Blanca tankini tops I’m always a 4 or 6 depending on the style and a 6 or 8 in their bottoms. The straps aren’t adjustable unfortunately. Also most of the times when I wear it the straps are slightly twisted (like shown in my picture) together, but whatever. In my experience la Blanca runs a little on the small side. I first ordered a size 8 in this swimsuit and it fit perfectly everywhere except it was way too short in length! I’m normally a 4/6 in jeans and shorts and a size small in tops. I’ve never worn a size 10 or even 8 before in clothing besides when I was pregnant. I think because I have a really long torso it affects the sizing. I wish the straps were adjustable on this swimsuit because even in the size 10 the straps are a tiny bit tight, but manageable. Also one thing to note in the colors besides black (I have black and a few other colors) it shows my belly button outline through the swimsuit, which kinda bothers me. All that being said this is one of my favorite swimsuits ever. The material is soft and silky and it’s SO flattering. The coverage and style is perfect for a 31 year old mom of a toddler like me. I wanted something appropriate to take my kid swimming but also cute at the same time. Just something to note I will probably add different pads in the boob area because the removable ones it comes with aren’t very thick. I have a small chest so I want a little extra boost. This definitely is one of my favorite swimsuits I’ve ever tried! I am wearing the color wine (I believe it’s called?) in this picture. The black one is my favorite as I mentioned! I am extremely picky so the things mentioned are just things to note. I would 100% recommend this to a friend. In fact I will probably try to order another color soon. I wish they had more darker color options in my size. I won’t order a lighter color due to the belly button situation (maybe I’m being overly critical) I mentioned above. I wouldn’t recommend the white color because I just don’t feel the material is thick enough overall, but maybe that’s just me. It’s a shame because I would've loved to order the white! The other colors probably aren’t see through and are fine.

I love this swimsuit so much that I bought it in three colors! :) I HATE shopping for swimsuits! The cute ones are never sturdy enough for my active lifestyle (I *play* in the water, and I play hard), and the sturdy ones are never cute. Finally, here is a swimsuit that is both! The straps in the back are strong but flexible, and the criss-cross pattern is very attractive. The fabric "stripes" across the upper abs manage to draw the eye away from my "mummy tummy" (hooray!), and I feel I won't need my towel wrapped around my waist all the time in my usual self-conscious fashion. That, combined with their free shipping both ways (only on some colors and sizes so make sure to look!), meant that I could try on the suits worry-free in the comfort of my own home. The "salmon" turns out to be more of an orange, so I returned that one and kept the marine blue, the aqua and the hot pink. Woo Hoo! NOW I am ready for summer! Thanks, La Blanca! Island Goddess indeed! :)

Holds large bust nicely (supportive but with a bit of sexy) and perfectly flatters and flattens tummy. My favorite suit! So flattering and high quality! LOVED the color. I ordered a 16W just to accommodate my chest (breastfeeding). I figured the bathing suit would be too roomy otherwise, but it was still too short in the torso. I'm 5'8" and have most of my length in my legs so I'm not unusually long to begin with. It would not lay against my skin making the fit very awkward. I LOVE La Blanca suits, but this is my second one that is short. Two pieces are an easy win for this designer, just very disappointed with the one pieces. I have religiously bought them for their quality and longevity but 4 c sections later... one pieces are required.

One of my best fitting swimsuits is this LaBlanca. I have one in a different color I bought years ago (@ retail $$$) which got faded in a hot tub. I wanted to replace it, but refuse to pay over $100 USD again, so happy to find the same suit in a different color that I can afford! One drawback is those six back straps are difficult to line up correctly without someone else's assistance.

I had previously found this suit at a store size 16. It had amazing tummy control! Absolutely loved it BUT I thought I need to size up and I ordered this one. Size 18 plus and it had NO TUMMY CONTROL like the one that was not plus size. Also the torso was shorter on the plus size. This suit not in plus size is a absolutely stunning and hits all the right places NOW why the designer thought it would be a great idea to take out tummy control in their plus size suits but leave it in their size 2 suits was a horrible idea. I’ve ordered another size again and will update if I can.
