    • Little, but packs a punch!
This Craftsman V20 Cordless Tire Inflator has quickly become one of my favorite practical tools. I already have Craftsman V20 batteries from other tools, so getting this bare tool inflator was a no-brainer for car and bike maintenance. The design is compact and the fact that it’s cordless means I can take it anywhere – I’ve used it in the driveway, at the park for bike tires, and even packed it on a road trip. To use it, you just snap in the battery, attach the hose to your tire valve (it has a threaded connector which feels secure), and set your desired pressure on the digital gauge. Then hit the button and it inflates automatically and shuts off once it reaches the set PSI. I’ve used it on car tires that were around 5-10 PSI low and it topped them up within a minute or so each – very convenient not having to find a gas station with a working pump. The digital gauge seems accurate; I cross-checked with a handheld tire gauge and it was spot on. It’s also great for bike tires and sports balls (comes with a couple adapters for those). The maximum is 150 PSI which is plenty even for my road bike tires. One of the things I appreciate is the built-in LED light – it’s small, but enough to illuminate the tire valve area if you’re inflating in the dark, which I had to do once when I discovered a low tire early morning. Noise-wise, it’s not too loud, sounds like a typical small compressor, but since it works fast it’s done before it can annoy anyone. After filling four car tires and a few basketballs on one charge (with a 2Ah battery), it still had juice left, so it’s reasonably efficient. The build feels solid, with compartments on board to store the hose and the accessory tips so they don’t get lost. Overall, this inflator is a hugely handy addition to my tool kit. No more quarters spent on gas station air pumps – this thing gives me quick, reliable inflating anywhere, anytime. ... show more

    • Easy Use Air Pump
This Craftsman battery powered air pump is really easier to use than going to a service station coin operated air pump. At the station, you have to fight the retraction force the air hose as you pull the hose around the car and try to get all the tires filled before the air pump time limit cuts off the air. The Craftsman air pump seems well made, was not too loud, inflated the tires quickly to the pressure shown on the digital readout screen and worked well.     • Great, except for the trigger
This thing is perfect for what it is meant to do. Inflate tires of all sorts, without cords, tanks, electricity, etc. It feels well built, not like the sunjoe one that I had that burned up the first time I tried to inflate a trailer tire. That felt like plastic junk. This feels like sturdy plastic. Heavier. It did the whole trailer with no issue. It has done tractor tires, car, truck and wagon tires. No issues at all. Except: There is NO trigger lock. If you need to put a few pounds into something, you can set the max, and it will stop at the max, but you need to be holding the trigger the entire time. There is no lock it, set it down and it will stop when it hits pressure. That's no fun. The sunjoe did that, while it lasted. Overall, I love it, I will be packing it in the camper when we take off and it will be my go to for quick inflations, but with no trigger lock it loses a star. best tire inflator device ive ever used. Used various plug in models, and car brand emergency kits that came in my car. reason why this is awesome - Chordless! - cant tell you how anoying it is wrangling extension cables or using the car plug in charger. FAST - inflates 2-3x faster than wall plug in models which is surprising. Light and easy to use - trigger is light, LCD screen is bright. no settings. pull trigger, it reads in PSI. no KPA, or other weird metrics. ACCURATE - filled up and verified with the car itself and a 3rd party gauge. its right on (Note, after you fiil, back off and let it sit, it generally drops down 1-2 PSI upon rest). ... show more

Great product to keep in your vehicle for those moments when your tires decide they don't want to hold air, or a quick inflation needed. Just remember to check it to make sure it's charged. Perfect size to keep on hand. Not very noisy and easy to use.
