I know other have mentioned that La Blanca runs small. I disagree. According to their sizing guide I should wear a 12. I ordered a 10 & a 12 and the 12 is much too big. I can adjust the strap but would be worried the entire time in the pool that something might pop out. I am also 5' 1" and the 12 was too long in the torso while the 10 fits me perfectly. Perhaps large chested girls would want the 12. I am average busted & felt the 10 provided excellent coverage. This suit is gorgeous. The top provides enough interest that it draws your eye upward instead of at the menobelly. This suit is so comfortable & excellent quality. Has a generous amount of stretch & a modest cut. While La Blanca runs on the more expensive side, you can find them on sale from time to time making them affordable. I will definitely be purchasing this swimsuit in more sizes as they go on sale. ... show more

I have not found a one piece swimsuit that I feel comfortable in in AGES. I usually just go for the over the stomach long tankini due to my stretch marks and baby pouch. But I've never felt cute in any of them and am too self-conscious to wear a 2 piece. Going on vacation soon and lost some weight so thought what the heck, why not. OMG. Overall fit is very good and flattering. The emerald color is lovely. It is a quality suit, and I appreciate that it is lined. The little opening in the bra might be slightly more revealing than I am comfortable with in some settings. However, being handy with a needle and thread, I think this could be remedied by hand-sewing an oblong piece of fabric in a complimentary print or solid color onto the lining of the bra, so that it faces out. It would only take a few stitches (or fabric tape) to add a bit more modesty if you're concerned about too much cleavage showing, but if you're not, this is a great suit! ... show more

The La Blanca Island Goddess swimsuit is extremely flattering. It covers in the right places but also defies the frumpy look. Although I am of a certain age, I like something that shows off my figure without being too revealing. This swimsuit does the trick. The quality of the fabric is great, very soft but not flimsy. I am petite 5’3” medium size 8 on bottom. Swimsuit Tops are more difficult because I am size 34 band full DD cup. Because of the way this top cut, it gives me coverage without adding extra padding or bulk. It can also be adjusted for a more or less modest look as desired. I think it would fit a wide range of bust sizes. I bought this suit in size 10. I’ve recently gained 22 lbs, and needed a bathing suit for an upcoming trip. I am 5’4, currently 154 lbs, and needed a suit with some tummy coverage and control, AND which accommodated my larger bust with support & coverage. I purchased it originally in size 14, but it was a little too loose so I returned it for a size 12, which fit me perfect! The suit is also perfect for my thick and curvy frame, And is definitely complementary! The suit is well-made and sturdy, A little pricey, but was worth it to me to find just the right suit. Don’t let the keyhole opening at the front, deter you. I was quite secure since there are cups, keeping everything in place. Yes, it shows a little cleavage line but that’s what makes it look sexy! I usually live La Blanca suits, but this one was very short in the torso for me. I ordered an 8 (5’5 130 lb) for reference and it didn’t work. Also, the top part has a lot of fabric, so if you’re not large busted, it may seem excessive.
