Incredible. This desk is beautiful, modern and spacious. The height adjustment is great, with good range for sitting and standing positions. I needed this as I suffer from pain from prolonged sitting. This is my dream purchase and I’m satisfied with the product. I’d say, the assembly took long and I wish they used more words on their instructions but the pictures helped.     • The Base of a Great Home Workstation

I was searching for a new workstation and this one met my specs almost perfectly. It wasn't cheap, but it wasn't my most expensive option, so I decided to give it a try. I may never use the standing option, but it's nice to have. I really liked the assembly video on the product page and it was likely what clinched choosing this desk. A couple things I found that don't match the pictures and the video I saw, though: - There are no cable pass thru's or grommets included with this desk; The video makes it look like the desktop has two grommeted holes, but it does not; And because I wanted a grommeted hole in the return, I bought a kit with a hole saw and twelve 2" grommets - glad I did; I wound up using five of them and may still add two more later; - The desk itself is basically two separate halves... Desktop is divided, the monitor bridge is divided; The whole thing if basically held together with wood pegs and a few plastic brackets with four screws in each one; When you first put it together, it seems flimsy, but stiffens up when you add the legs and their bracing; I recommend having some good carpenter's glue to glue the pegs in the desktop and the return; Fully assembled it seems to be sufficiently stable; - The monitor bridge is in two sections with a separate vertical piece of stock on each desktop half; I used my 2" grommets from the third party kit and got what I wanted; - The back of the monitor bridges spans about 75% of the distance and is open the 25% closest to the middle of the desktop; I's not perfect, but it's simple and it works; I debated drilling the monitor bridge and adding grommets, but then the grommets will sit above the desktop surface and destabilize the monitors; I do wish the monitor bridge back was the full length and one piece, just to add rigidity to the desktop and then a well-placed grommet or two in the back panel would work to bring cables in and underneath to be dropped down into the cable management system of choice; - There is no cable management system, I used a wire-basket cable tray system from Northland that I bought here on Amazon; Two 36" and two 14" made an L-shaped tray system that was easy to install, looks great, and is super flexible for under $100. The desk is a good starting point, but it's incomplete in some respects. For the price, it's worth it and something you can build on nicely... Now it's just a matter of seeing how it holds up over time. ... show more

Be aware that this desk has quite a few parts that need to be put together. I didn't rush it and it took me approx. 4 hours to get it done. The manual is quite good, the components are all high quality and fit together well. I actually enjoyed putting it together and I am quite happy with the result. The desk is sturdy, looks really nice and the height adjustment works well. This product offers excellent value for the money. I will update this review if I encounter any issues over time. Utter disappointment. On what planet do you have an L–shaped desk that cannot be arranged so that the return is on either the left or the right side? This is an absurd design. I’m so disappointed. Returning immediately because nowhere in the advertisement did it indicate that the desk could not be made either right hand or left hand. I had to dig down well into the reviews where another lady commented about the same thing. Said that it was kind of rickety, but I suspect that is the result of her husband trying to make it a right-hand return through unspecified jerry-rigging.
