Good quality desk that is stable when raised. The dual motor helps and is a better option than cheaper with a single motor. Programming sitting and standing height is very easy. The motors are not loud and work smoothly. This is a great option if you just need a good quality desk without a bunch of and whistles. Very good deal for the price. Note on assembly: as others have stated the assembly is a little confusing particularly the attachment of the under bar parts since there are no pre drilled holes in the middle. You can try to drill them yourself but there are not clear on but sizes etc. you might just want to skip the middle holes and screws entirely, I'm not sure they really make a difference and when I tried them in, it was a mess. ... show more

Let's get the negatives out of the way. The cable routing offered is absolute trash tier. The adhesive won't hold overnight. Throw it out and use something else. Even bad gaffer's tape is better. Expect to drill a few holes. I didn't have to drill every hole, but I did have to drill the holes to secure the central rail. You can do it the right way, and set it up, mark your holes, remove everything and drill, or if you have a long drill bit, or can rig up a way to have a long drill bit, you can do it like I did and drill with everything in place. You will need a long bit for that though because that central beam is going to create interference with the arbor of your drill. Fortunately you don't need to drill deeply a quarter inch at most. Now for the good stuff: this looks as good as ones that cost two to three times as much. It's great. It's not loud, and it has motors on both sides without a rotating crankshaft running the span of the desk. Lifting and lowering is smooth and efficient. The instructions are easy to follow, but this being a table and the lifting kit being meant for multiple lengths of table means you need to read the instructions carefully, and pay attention to the shape of the parts to line things up. It's up to you to get things centered well, and if you don't get them centered, you're going to be less pleased with the results. I took a good 15-20 minutes checking and rechecking before I started attaching the top to the legs, and then worked carefully to tighten everything evenly in several stages to avoid having any last minute slipping or shifting ruining my setup. The legs include leveling feet, which was a pleasant surprise. The controller can be installed on either side, and is easy to use. You might be wondering about the "stage" term. What is a two stage vs three stage? It refers to the number of sliding panels on the legs--the number of telescoping segments. The more stages, the higher it can go. I stand about 5'9" (175cm) in my bare feet, and when this is at full height it's at my armpit level. I can comfortably drape my arms across the top with them perpendicular to my body. It's lowest is a little uncomfortable in a common task chair set at the highest setting. most people should be able to find a comfortable height to use, whether standing or sitting, regardless of whether they're on a kneeling stool, task chair, recliner, or a drafting stool. Even if you never intend to use it as a standing desk (I honestly haven't used that feature as often as I imagined I would) the ability to make the height correct for you rather than making your seating height fit your desk is worth the cost and time to assemble. I do wish there were a convenient, effective, and trustworthy means of suspending a tower computer tower unit underneath it. In the absence of that, when setting it up, be careful to watch your cables when lifting and lower to make sure they aren't at risk of being pulled out or entangled on something. And bring your own cable management, because, again: the included solution is terrible, and best used as an example of what not to buy. ... show more

I ordered the FlexiSpot EC5 48"x24" in bamboo top + white and I am loving it so much. I have a bad back so being able to adjust the height accordingly to my day-to-day symptoms helps me greatly. The height adjustment transitions very smoothly, and the desk is incredibly sturdy. I also love the smooth bamboo table top (gorgeous aesthetic!), and overall there's so much room for me to work! The desk arrived in two separate boxes. The flat table top is in one box, and the rest of the leg components are in another. The boxes are quite heavy so it may be best to grab a second set of hands to help! But the overall assembly is very quick and easy (however a power drill was definitely necessary!) Truly so in love with this desk and am so so happy it's now a part of my office space. ... show more

I've been using this desk for a few days now and I'm pretty happy with it. It's sturdy at standing height, the transitions are smooth and quiet. The anti-collision works! At first I had the power cord too tight at standing height and it triggered the anti-collision, once I gave it more slack the problem went away. I paid $300 for this since I had the other 100 in points, and I think it's a great value. I wouldn't have purchased if I had to pay over $400. NOTE from this review and others two things: 1) The base and the table top ship separately and only one is tracked by Amazon--not a problem for me and I knew this ahead of time. 2) I had to drill my own holes to attached the top. Again, not an issue for me because I read previous reviews and knew that was coming. ... show more
