The media could not be loaded. This review will cover everything I was looking for in reviews but couldn’t find when deciding on this couch. 1. If you’re over 5’8 -5’9 and have long legs your feet will hang over the chaise. I’m a hair shorter that 5’7. Before ordering I also measured my hip to foot length because I have long legs. I put the chaise cushion on my current cloud chaise to see how much shorter it was compressed, then I actually sat on it. It’s about 8 inches shorter when compressed than my current sectional. I imagine it should expand another inch or so. The frame is exactly the same length as the box it’s in and when I sat next to it, I had another 3-4 inches but if I slouch too much my feet will definitely hang over. Chaise fits me almost perfectly if I sit upright. 2. The legs are 2.5 inches high (The standard height for a low profile couch) and have one middle screw. The legs are replaceable. This is the same height as my current couch which I don’t find too low and it’s a cloud couch. If you don’t like a low couch and don’t want to buy feet, this isn’t for you. I included a picture of the 2.5 in vs 6 in legs for comparison. 3. There are 3 boxes. They may or may not come on the same day. My ETA was 9/12. I received my “shipped” notification around 8:30a on 9/4. My first package arrived by 2pm. The first box contained all the pieces for the left facing chaise. I received the second and third boxes on 9/5 and 9/6, respectively. 4. The orange is muted. It’s more of a copper and will look lighter in daylight and in person than than in pictures. I was nervous that my first box was pink. I was hoping for a truer orange. 5. The back is metal with those strips you find on old school lawn chairs, meaning the support is similar. The fabric is removable so I’d suggest adding a thin piece of wood to the back side and cushion to the other. The base is made of wood and springs. It’s like a box spring. 6. *** OPEN THE BOXES AND REMOVE THE PLASTIC CAREFULLY IN CASE YOU HAVE TO RETURN IT*** ~Everything is vacuum sealed. Make sure you have ALL of the non vacuum sealed pieces BEFORE opening the cushions otherwise you will never get them back into the box and you need the original box to return - once you have all the pieces, take out the cushions, UNZIP the covers so air can circulate through the foam and polyfil. As soon as you unzip them, they immediately swell. If you don’t unzip the cushions, they will be flat like you see in other reviews. Sit them in a well ventilated and sunny spot for at least 24 hours for the pillows to fully inflate. Fluff and gently knead the cushions for maximum fluff. If possible, wait before sitting on the couch until the cushions fully expand. All of the covers unzip and the seats have two zippers one on the outside and one inside for the top cushion. It’s hard to get to the inner zipper for the top cushion bc the foam is thick. Just know that you can’t just pull them out of the plastic and expect them to expand. All of the pillows will fluff up if you follow the instructions above. It’s a medium firm couch that’s comfy for watching tv and napping. So far, Id give it a 4.5 star because the seat back is very lazy construction with the metal vs wood like the rest of the couch but it’s sturdy esp if against a wall and you can’t feel it. One side of the back pillow is foam and one side is polyfil. If you like a firmer cushion, use the foam side, softer, use the polyfill side. If you don’t want to place it against a wall, I’d suggest adding a dense piece of upholstery foam under the cover. The couch is modular so can be arranged in multiple ways. After a few days of sitting, the cushions loosen up. The Velcro is strong and the cushions fit tight together so they don’t move. It’s easy for one person to put together and for the price of a few hundred dollars it’s a good couch. The description of the couch is accurate. I love this couch! I was worried when there was no reviews yet, but I’ve had this couch for about 2 months now and it’s awesome! It came in 3 different boxes (all on the same day) and was very simple to put together. While putting it together, I thought it would be very low to the ground, but the cushions puff up very large. The cushions are very soft, which make the couch super comfortable. The back pillows and the throw pillows do not puff up and are still pretty thin. They aren’t uncomfortable though. The color for one is absolutely gorgeous. I've always dreamed of having a green couch. I'm autistic and so textures are a big deal for me, this couch has a nice smooth cashmere material. I've had this couch for about 3 months and my roommates cat has already scratched up the back side. So, if you have naughty cats, make sure to cover it with either tape or a velcro scratching pad. Here are some tips to make the couch better. One, in the big cushion is a mattress topper type thing with a mesh sheet filled with poly fill. Rip the poly fill sheet off. Like in the picture provided, shape it so it forms a U, all the stuffing will go there to make a cushier feel. Next, take the hard shaped stuffing and rip off tiny pieces to ensure that the pillow is actually bouncy. I didn't provide a picture, but do the same with the smaller pillows. Goes from flat to thick when doing so! (Removing poly fill from the mesh pillowcase and making tiny pieces). After I did that diy, I absolutely adore my couch! Before I didn't enjoy it as much because it was super firm. In the future, I will most likely remove the mattress topper material and just fill the whole pillow with poly fill. Also, I'm 5'4 and this is where my feet end when sitting up straight. They hang off when lounging, think that's my only complaint. My 6'1 husband struggles even more haha.
