I so much wanted to love this eyeliner! The color is wonderful and loved that, but the formula, not so much. It says it is waterproof, but there is apparently such a thing as taking that to an extreme. For one thing, it is impossible to apply without it clumping in my eyelashes which then messes up my mascara application. It dries HARD which also makes it very difficult to remove, even with eye makeup remover. The first day I tried it, at work I felt like I had an eyelash in my eye so went to the restroom to check in the mirror there. Pulled down my lower lid and found a big chunk of this eyeliner. When trying to remove, it comes off in chunks which are hard to get off your face and as I said, eye makeup remover does absolutely nothing to this stuff. I generally avoid waterproof eyeliners but wanted to give this a try because of the great color. If they made a non-waterproof formula I would buy it in a heart beat. It is so hard to find eyeliners that look good with gray hair and this color fit the bill. Gave a nice, dramatic look without being too harsh like black or even brown does. Overall, sadly disappointed. For those looking for something similar, with a variety of color options that are darkish, but softer than the go-to black and brown that so many companies stick with, I have found some success with several Japanese brands I have found online. ... show more

This is amazing eyeliner. It's extremely easy to use. It's easy to put on in a fine line or a thick line. The bottle contains a lot of eyeliner and it lasts for many many applications. The eyeliner itself wears incredibly well if applied over an eyeshadow primer. It's almost difficult to remove but I have finally figured out how to work with it. I apply a cleanser and rinse it off and then use a warm steamy washcloth to soak the eyeliner off as you rub a little bit. I never have to worry about my eyeliner running or being wiped away and the Griege color is the perfect color for me. This is by far the best eyeliner I have ever used and I have tried at least a hundred different eyeliners from a variety of price points. ... show more
