Bought this straightener at the end of November. I have naturally curly hair, so I don't even straighten my hair very often. My first L'ange straightener lasted me for years, which is exactly why I decided to buy the same brand again. Unfortunately, the new version is nothing like the old one. The power switch is now digital, and it's incredibly frustrating to use. Half the time I have to sit there pressing the button repeatedly just to get the straightener to turn on, and turning it off is even worse. Most of the time I eventually give up and just unplug it. It worked okay the first few times I used it, but now it won't heat past 230°F, which makes it basically useless for curly hair. For something that's barely a few months old and used only occasionally, that's unacceptable. Very disappointed. I expected much better quality and reliability based on my previous L'ange straightener, but this one has been a complete waste of money. ... show more

My wife really like this brand. The flat gets super hot and preforms well. Easy to handle but the only downside is that it can be difficult to turn off with the touch screen power button. It takes several attempts to shut down.
