I had gotten this shaver for both my husband and me. He has been using it to keep his beard trim and the lines clean. I have been using the main attachment to both dry and wet shave my legs. I have this awful habit of forgetting to shave my legs and then realizing when I am getting ready to go somewhere in shorts or a dress that I forgot. When I am in a hurry, I sometimes dry shave the visible part of my leg only to experience irritation and dryness. I decided to try out that attachment on my legs, and it works great! I first tried it out dry and even pressed firmly into my skin to get as close to the hair follicle as I could. There was no pain, no cuts, no excessive dryness (slight dryness as to be expected of dry shaving), and no irritation afterwards. It doesn't get quite as close a shave to my leg hair as a fresh razor would, but this is my new secret weapon when I have to shave last minute. We have also tried out the various attachments for keeping our underwear areas trim and tidy. It works fairly well, but it can't reach all the areas due to it's shape and the way the attachments go on. I have a different bikini trimmer I will continue to use for those areas instead. I could do without the facial brush attachment which is too rough for my skin. Although it looks high tech and flashy with that LED screen, operating this electric razor is as simple as can be. It is a one button operation of on and off (with a long press feature to activate travel lock). The touch screen display exactly how many minutes of use you have left before you need to charge which is a feature I wish all my random devices came with (I'm looking at you electric tooth brush that I don't realize has slowly lost effectiveness as it loses battery). Being able to use it in or out of the shower and rinse it off is another helpful feature. It even comes with a little brush. It could be tedious for some that you have to open each individual head (see picture) on the large attachment to clean it out but not a big deal to me. This is a nice convenient shaver. While it's primarily advertised as a head shaver, it also includes a few other trimming accessories that make it reasonably suitable for general grooming as well. I have curlier, somewhat drier beard hair unfortunately and the primary attachment has not been great for trimming my beard. It catches and snags a lot of hairs on my face. This is a bit of a difficult review. The design is for shaving your head bald but it also advertises heavily that it can be used to shave your face as well which is why I gave it a try. My results were mixed. On the sides (cheek) of the face with the 6 shaving heads it made quick work of my beard. The problem I had is moving into the neck area and also with sideburns. There is no straight edge to clean up side burns so I had to use another razer to get those. As for the neck the way this is designed made it difficult to shave the neck area and so I had to spend a lot of time and go over that area many, many times to the point I actually got a little bit of razer burn. Eventually I got everything but for face shaving I would give this more of a 2 star review. Now with all that said while I didn't shave my head, I have shaved my head in my past and I think this would be an amazing shaver if I were still shaving my head bald. This did such a great job on the cheek area and was fast and smooth and the shape would most definitely favor shaving your head. I expect this would probably be 4-5 stars for that if I had tried it. So bottom line will depend on your needs. My face took 3 mins total to shave and the display panel is quite informative compared to most. Instead of the typical % of battery left it tells you how many minutes of use you have left and after your shave it tells you how long in minutes your shave was.
