I'm not used to the low-sudsing shampoo so that took a while to get used to, but this ended up being a good product. It seems expensive for the size of bottle you get, but lots of the higher quality shampoos are I suppose. This shampoo left my hair smelling great and my curls bouncy. It is a low-poo shampoo, as it doesn't have sulfates, so don't be surprised when it doesn't lather up and make tons of bubbles - it is working as intended! It comes out in a consistency of conditioner. I didn't really notice that it helped reduce frizz - but that could be my fault as I didn't use a conditioner afterwards. But my hair still felt very soft, not stripped of moisture or anything. My main complaint is that the seal is HARD to get off. ... show more

This is a white, creamy shampoo with relatively minimal and high quality ingredients. it is nourishing and hydrating as it claims to be, working well for dry, frizzy hair. I need products to be gluten free due to an allergy and although this isn't marked as being gluten free, I think it is...I don't see any suspicious ingredients and it didn't cause any adverse reactions. My only disappointment with this shampoo is that it isn't marked as being safe for color-treated hair. I looked on the L'Ange website for clarification and still couldn't get a definitive answer. It listed certain products as being ideal for color preservation and this shampoo wasn't one of them. So, since it is looking like this isn't encouraged for people who color their hair, I might have to use this sparingly or after my color has already faded and before I would go in to get it done...too bad, because it is a nice shampoo. ... show more

I usually love L’ange products, but this particular product made my hair feel weighed down and greasy. The shampoo doesn’t lather and left a residue making my hair feel dirty. Hair was dry and frizzy afterwards when I tried to style it. Returned for a refund.

    • Makes hair so soft and frizz-free
I'll admit, I was hesitant about how much I'd like this when I saw the texture, but it made my hair feel so nice. I have type 2b/2c high-porosity hair and most of the time it looks dry, no matter how many moisturizing hair care products I try. This doesn't lather really well, but I do feel like my hair felt clean afterward and my roots weren't greasy. My waves were so beautiful and soft after diffusing and my hair also looked good when I air dried it using this shampoo with the L'ange Curl Conditioner. I gave it 4 stars because of the price. It is expensive for its size and I do think there are more affordable options out there that work just as well. ... show more

This shampoo has a nice clean smell to it. It doesn’t lather up like I’m used to with other shampoos which the bottle does mention, but I actually prefer not having a head of suds as long as it cleans my hair which it seems to do. I like how it made my hair feel clean and still had some softness to it before I even used conditioner which was unexpected but great considering I’ve tried other brands of sulfate free shampoos that made my hair feel tough and like the life had been sucked out of it. I’m very impressed with this shampoo and wish the conditioner was available on Vine as well to try, but I think I’ll still go purchase it now that this shampoo has made a great impression on me.
