I belong to a couple of beauty box subscription services and have tons of eye shadows but it seems none are in the green or blue range. I have brown eyes and green flatters my eyes for whatever reason. I wanted a green palette but didn't want to spend much considering I don't use bright eye shadow all that often and have so many pricey palettes as it is. I saw this and liked that it had green and blue as well as purple shades. I have about 100 shades of browns and nudes but few of the shades in this compact. It is a bit smaller than I expected and the strips of shadows are quite small but I don't need much. The pigment is good. Not great but enough so that it is visible on my lids with just one layer. There are some mattes but more sparkly shades. I am not the biggest fan of shimmer but it actually looks nice if applied sparingly. I like that I can mix the shades to make a unique one and that there are so many different shadows in one palette. There is no mirror which I rarely use but kind of miss and the applicator is junk so it's best to toss it and use your own brush for good results. Once it is on, the shadow stays put especially with a primer underneath. The quality isn't the best but it works fine for me. The price was super low so I got more than I paid for. ... show more

Like other reviews stated, I received this with sections missing and powder all over the outside as the item was shipped without any wrapping - just dropped in an envelope; however, it was replaced by Amazon with no problem. The second arrived in perfect condition. This has very deep pigment, especially considering the low price and number of shades included. I've been using LA Colors "Strange Love" eye shadow for years. It's the purple set with some plum colors. The first time I bought it, I was in love. I emptied a quarter of the colors and made a good dent in most of the rest. When I bought the replacement, I still had the original and could tell the colors were changed slightly but it was still doable. I didn't use as many of the shades but it's cheap enough to just replace when my favorites were gone. I just ordered another replacement and all the colors are trash. The shades still look like they are represented but there is zero pigmentation. And I do mean zero. I keep layering them on and nothing shows for it. I ended up tossing it. I hope this isn't a reflection of their entire line of shadows. I have another set (different formation - 4pack) that I've just re-ordered..third one for it it too. If it's the same, I'll have to move back to the more expensive but more reliable brands that I was using in the past. ... show more
