Colors at all, I both love & have used for a long time now, this brand, but this palette here, is hot, haute, haute! No doubt!!! And yes, there is NO mattes in this palette at all, but I'm still not mad at all! It's actually very good! Has great quality! ALL the colors are absolutely gorgeous! Some shades are more pigmented than others, some need a wet brush or finger for application but OVERALL, it's a good palette & I'm so glad I finally purchased it! It blends really well! I've done many looks already with the palette! It's not only very pretty but all the pans are stamped with hearts & I absolutely LOVE details like this! Great for what we get! These are great if you just want a pop of color every now and again. I've tried every color and they're pretty consistent. The case is a bit hard to open, but there are ways around it. The only thing to note is that if you don't use a setting spray (not sure if it'd stay even with), they do fade a bit and clump/gather in your creases. It's not super noticeable to other people or yourself until you're looking directly at them in the mirror. They weren't sticky at all, and the applicator that came in the box worked well. Bought for the variety of colors hoping that some will look good on me and show up on my skin tone. Was particular interested in the blues, greens, purples and pinks. They do show up on my skin tone and stay the color I was expecting. Colors with yellow or orange undertones will turn clownish orange on my skin so eye shadow is hard for me to find. They don't last on my skin as long as the other palettes I bought that are also from L.A. Colors. Tend to wear off naturally (meaning without me rubbing my eyes) after a few hours. But I do like & will continue to use. Not overly happy with the applicator but bought brushes separately and use them. ... show more

This is a cheap, but good quality eye shadow pallet. It has a good variety of colors. Great for younger girls for their first eye shadow pallet. Or just a spare pallet for toddlers who want to do their make up every once in a while. The eye shadow is great, but the brush (which is not a brush they are the cheap dual 2-sided ones) is very cheap and the cushion like covers fall off after a while. As I become older, a lot of cosmetics - especially eye shadows - irritate my skin. My eyes will sting and water the longer I wear the eyeshadow. I've paid a lot of money looking for eyeshadows that do not cause an allergic reaction. I asked a wealthy friend which brand she buys for her sensitive skin; she pointed me to the $65 Dior shadows. I was desperate, so I bought a palette. They were probably the worst of all! I was skittish about L. A. Colors because of the low price. When they arrived, I tried them on and I had no redness, no swelling, itchy eyelids or eyeballs, and the colors lasted for 5+ hours before they needed a refresh.
